#1: I was driving down the interstate and a semi in the lane beside me randomly decides that he's coming over. (guess he didn't see me...) The only thing that saved me was my slamming the brake.

#2: Dogs don't like me. I don't know what it is, but dogs that have never hurt anyone will attack me. I've been attacked by several dongs that I honestly thought would kill me.

Ski east across this [http://maps.google.co.uk/?ie=UTF8&ll=45.876998,6.908635&spn=0.002375,0.00478&t=h&z=18]. Continue east, then north-east, past this [http://maps.google.co.uk/?ie=UTF8&ll=45.874006,6.928988&spn=0.002375,0.00478&t=h&z=18]. Inform group leader there is something seriously ******* wrong with him.

Then there's the shadow here [http://maps.google.co.uk/?ie=UTF8&ll=46.5919,8.019333&spn=0.075025,0.15295&t=h&z=13], which is a really bad place to be in a combined Föhn wind and thunderstorm, and pretty much every time I've been on British roads on two wheels.

That's a known problem of the Pontiac Gran Turismo. The hood release is beside the driver's seat, in just the right place to get clipped by a heel as you're getting out.

Never really had a proper near-death experience. I was in a car accident, but no-one was hurt 'cause we were only doing around 25mph at the time. I could have drowned when I was a kid, too - I thought it'd be an awesome idea to swim under floats and push them up with my head. All was fine and well until I tried a heavy one, not knowing it was heavy. Panic ensued, and I came up coughing out water.

Capsized in a canoe and couldn't get out. Twice. Second time I started to breathe in water.

Fuck you death, your aim is shit.
Sorry to laugh at your near death, but that second sentence was pure gold. I salute you good sir XD

I've never had a near death experience fortunately.

I once moved from the back seat to the front seat of a car moving ~70mph (~112kph) by going outside the car.

Almost got shot in the head once, My cusin hd gotten hold of a rifle, dont ask me were from or how he got it, but he had one, he was messing about with it in the woods, I went to have a look, he was messing about with the scope and aimed the rifle to my head, not thinking it was loaded, pull the trigger, I saw rifle bullet buzz right pass my face, I didnt move for a good while, was alittle in shock. Turned out that the rifle was pritty old and that the scope was a few inches off. I was about 14 when that happend my cusin was about 16.

Mine's kind of boring, I nearly died of chicken pox (believe it or not!). They all got infected, and I've still got the scars, this was when I was about five or so. When I was seven, I had a nearly fatal asthma attack, on the brink and so on. Nothing exciting, just medical. :p

* i was born about 2 months early and my heart was very weak, so it stopped 2 or 3 times the first week of my life.

* at the age of 5 i jumped into a lake where i had played in the shallow water a month before, what i didnt know was that they had dug out the bottom in preperation for a diving tower. None of my parents saw me dissapear, but a random guy at the beach saw me and dived to the bottom and saved me. (that was a close one...)

* at the age of 7 a played catch with a friend at a high hill, of course i fell over the edge
(about the same hight as a 6 floor building), i hit a tree and managed to hit every branch on the way down... shaken, but no broken bones.

* About to cross the street behind the schoolbus one day i hesitaded, the second before another bus slams into the schoolbus from behind. I was so close that shrapnel from the schoolbus backlights made cuts into my clothes.

* at 8 i had finally learned to swim so i jumped into the river at my cousins place, but nobody told me it went so fast that swimming was forbidden. i got sucked under the surface and got stuck in some bars under the water that clear the river from debris. My stephfather jumped in and saved me that time.

* While on a schooltrip i played soccer on a grassfield with a friend, missed the ball and kicked a nest of,what we call "earthbees" here. If unlucky and allergic, stung 2 - 3 times can kill you, i got stung about 90 times. I got high fewer for 3 days but seems to be immune from beesting ever since. ( i have been stung again, but never any swelling or lasting pain )

Apart from this - underwater currents while visiting Australia and five years later, the same thing in Spain... kidneyfailure from absolutely nowhere, and finally rammed in the back from a drunk driver while sitting in an old WV "beetle"´s backseat, that engine (they are in the back in that model) went by me VERY close.

Also, horsekicks, dogbites in the face, skin scraped of my forhead to the bone, skin ripped from my right forearm in a work accident, several scars on knees, toes, fingers and hands from
axes, knives, darts, broken glass and fire.... but never any broken bones.

in the end, i am a very lucky guy....

I was cycling to Central London, then I nearly got killed by a bendy bus which was turning right. I couldn't see that it wasn't a normal bus until it was nearly too late.

Hm, well, lets see, I've had several head injuries in my lifetime, including needing stitches at least once (that I remember.)

Nearly drowned once...couldn't swim, went out to the deep end on a raft, fell off, nearly drowned. Some guy I barely knew saved me, though...was real thankful to him.

Damn near lost a eye, at the least, if it didn't just kill me outright...was playing around on a four-wheeler, not wearing a helmet. Was seeing how fast I could get it to go...ended up hitting a rock and tipping it, luckily it missed falling on me. However, I hit something on the ground, and received a really nasty gash to my eyebrow...less than quarter of an inch lower, and I'd have lost my eye.

Besides that, just the normal almost hit by bad drivers, etc.
