I was almost crushed by a four wheeler, for some reason I landed a few inches far enough to the left, and in such a way, that I could push it up far enough and slip out from under... I suffered no permanent harm luckily.

When I was 10 I went swimming unsupervised with a swim suit on that was way to big for me. After about 5 mins I got tangled up in it and couldn't get out I was under the water for a good 30 seconds and I don't think that I would been able to stay concious for much longer but I somehow managed to get myself free and go up for air.

While on holidays in spain, I became friends with a kid and we would hang out the whole time we were there. One day we couldn't find our parents so we went to look for his parents at the apartment he was staying at, (I think that how the story went I can't remember it so well, we were only around 4-5 years old.) When we got to the apartment the door was locked so we tried to get in through the window. While I was trying to get through the window I lost my footing and ended up dangling from the window at 3 stories with balconys right beneath me so if I fell I would land back first on the railing then slip head first on solid concrete. Luckily my friend helped me up. Another occasin I was almost run over by my mum. :)
We stoped at the shops and I got out and ran towards them she thought I was behind the car and drove into me, luckily I just got only a small bump.

I fell headfirst on a home-made iron table, with shaps points still sticking out. A few milimeters lower and it would have crushed my eye.

Last year I had meningitis. That wasn't fun either.

I fell under a bus when i was a toddler... it was at a stop and nearly ran me over when it started rolling again...

that and i ran into the back of a van goin downhill on a bike really fast, ripped myself open pretty bad and had to walk home before going to the hospital to get stitches... i was rather low on blood by the time they got me into an operating room...

and there've been many others... mostly close calls with people driving carelessly...

I was in a car accident a couple years back. I was also hit by a car, but sustained almost no injuries from that little incident.

Well I have a heap of scars. I think of them as lessons, but, come to think of it, none of them were actually life threatening.

Although I was almost strangled with my umbilical cord before I was born, that was... Well, actually I don't remember that.

I've never really had any "near death experiences", but I did get lost in my bed when I was little.

When I was 9 I climbed this huge tree all the way to the top (approx 20 m). Enjoying the view I misstepped the supporting branch and fell. Luckily I was able to grasp that branch with both hands as I was falling. I pulled myself up and started to climb down slowly. When my feet touched the ground... it was as if time stood still.

I was in a ute, driving up a very steep hill, when one of the tyres slipped. We almost rolled off the edge but a tree about 20cm across stopped the car, which was almost vertical at that point.

1. Industrial accident nearly got me on VERY PERSONAL terms with an active rotary saw. (Luckily it finished at the last second and I just kind of bounced off)
2. Whe I was small (can't remember how old) I decided it would be fun to dodge cars on a busy road. It isn't.
3. F*cked up traffic accident left me lying on the road not far from a roundabout (Few seconds more and I'd of been a smear)

And a few others besides. And through all the mess ups in my life, I've never broken a bone (even from falling from top of single story buildings, onto the top of my head. I wonder where my sanity went?)

A psychopath tried to run me over with his motorcycle, bastard. I was stand two or three feet in front of him and only survived because my mum pulled me out of the way just in time.

I felt the bike clip me as it went by.
Maybe it was the same guy that tried to run me down :p he missed, but made up for it by parking his Motorbike on my feet

I was in a car crash once. Luckily no one was majorly harmed but that could've had a sadder ending had I not been wearing my seatbelt.

I was shot when I was 12.the bullet went through my left leg and into my right ankle because I was in mid walk. It's the reason I'm so short and why I have a slight limp.
Is there a story behind your being shot at the tender age of 12?
I'd like to say it was a shoot out with the ATF, but all it really was my uncle was cleaning a gun and forgot to put on the saftey.

Was held up at gunpoint. Almost ODed one time.
What was that like?

Uhh, when I was a baby, crawled out the window on the second story of my house, played on the roof, then went back inside. When I was 9 I got an infection affected my legs so I couldn't walk (I was a paraplegic for a fortnight, and I'm glad I'm not anymore). I was in a car accident at 45 MPh, the other car t-boned us.
1) scary, was on the job, no one was hurt though. The guy was just desperate. There was less than a hundred dollars in the drawer. 2) Very Painful-It hurt a lot the parts that I was concious for. It was a weird pain though. My mind was kind of separate from it,but I could feel my body dying.
