Timesplitters 4

Crytek is thinking about it, FreeRadical is thinking about it, we are thinking about it, why don't they just get to work on it already? :/ Are they wondering if it is a viable option? If so, why? Of course it is!

Timesplitters 2 & 3 were arguably the most fun I've had in an FPS ever, I can't speak for everyone of course, but to me, no shooter has come close to the laughs and fun I had in those two games, so of course it annoys me that Crytek even has to think about it.

Who else is looking forward to it?

There are plenty of modern warfares, space marines and such, so stick them in TS4 for one big fun bout And as for plot, TS4 is one of the few games I couldn't care less if they had a ground breaking plot or not, as long as it is unnecessarily over the top, action packed, silly and downright hilarious

Cheerleaders with miniguns, monkeys with flamethrowers, space marines with bricks and dinosaurs with missile launchers beats anything on the market atm in my opinion

I would love a TS4! With even more monkeys! The games get a hell of a lot better as they go, so since future perfect was amazing so when/if TS4 comes around, it'll be epic for sure. Not entirely sure what they could do with the plot though, but as long as it's funny, I couldn't care less.

I don't particularly care for the series with the same enthusiasm as the rest of the Escapist, but who am I to say the fans should suffer? And another over-the-top FPS can't hurt. In HD.

I'd love to see its unique cartoony graphics upgraded for the current consoles. Not to mention its addictive multiplayer and wacky characters.

I crave TimeSplitters. I hope they do bring another one out, with modern era gameplay (Not taking away from TS's original style though).

I don't think they need a story, all we need is challenges, mapmaker and arcade and league modes. They also need to add to their vehicle sections, there was too little vehicle sections in TS:FP.

holy crap, yes! i'd love to relive all the countless hours i spent playing older TS games with my friends. i'd say they're very definitely my favorite series of shooters. i think my best friend will crap himself if they make another

Gonna be controversial here and say I didn't really like TS all that must. I mean sure, I had a blast with friends in the multiplayer, but the campaigns were shambolic and inconsistent, the weapons weren't (generally) odd enough to be really funky but were too arcade-y to be realistic compared to Halo. Just not my sort of game, I guess. Always felt caught between all-out nutty awesome (monkies dual wielding p90s ^_^, homing missile-packing snowmen) and a spoof of every other game, and came out the worse for it. If they'd stuck with a style and really made it solid I would have been happier - I guess it was too much of a game or something... o.0

I know how you feel, I wasn't particularly happy when they announced Haze but I figured what they hell, it couldn't hurt, new IPs can't be a bad thing, especially if they are made by the creators of my favourite FPS series ever.......I was horribly wrong

I want it, but no regenerating shields, no jump functions, health packs, optional reticles, cheats that can be accessed from multiplayer menus. And I want MonkeyChief from the teaser trailer!

EDIT: They should release downloadable versions of the previous 3 that if you buy you get extra stuff. And I want at least one map that includes several time zones, to have massive assualt battles.

People care about Timesplitters!? I always thought i owned the only copies in the universe, since no-one but me and the friends i played it with seemed to even acknowledge it's existence!

Unfortunately i can't see it happening, since it seems to be my personal equivalent of Duke Nukem Forever or Episode 3...

In future perfect they find the source of the time splitters. I guess somewhere along the line, the time splitters could be born again which just makes the time splitter attack come about YEARS later, hence the paradise at the end of number 3

I have been waiting patiently for a TS4 for the longest time. It's about time they stop thinking and start doing.

They said they would make it if the market demanded it. Right now the market seems to want realistic, COD-like shooters. So they make that(see: Crysis 2). If the market started to want more over-the-top, silly, fun shooters, they would make that.

So every, buy Bulletstorm and Duke Nukem. Show them that we want fun shooters again. SHOW THEM WE WANT TIMESPLITTERS DAMMIT!

A good plan would to release Timesplitters 2/Future Perfect on the PC. Maybe a console HD re-release, to gauge interest. Not only would I buy those, I'd probably buy all 3 versions. Because Timesplitters is my favoritest game series ever made ever, and I would pay any amount of money for it.
