The Timesplitter series has easily one of the most fun multiplayer aspects of any FPS I've ever played. And if Timesplitters 4 is picked up, I just might shit my pants in excitment!

The developers, Free Radical, are now Crytek UK right? We should bombard them with e-mails or something.

I have yet to play a game that gave me as much joy as TS2 did.

I love the create a level mode, the stupid levels I made using that just made it all the more pleasing :D

I made a bone like level with two turret guns on either end of the narrow hall, that was hilarious but not particularly convenient. Then there was the neon lights you could play with, make pitch black areas with no light making shooting difficult, but hilarious, the flashing lights.

Oh, and the tower of doom I made :D Perfect for capture the bag, one bag was upsatirs and the other downstairs.

God, I can only imagine the countless possibilities a create a level mode would offer now, just have a look at LBP for an example :D And as the game is cartoonified, there is no real need for textures to look 100% realistic, so they won't take up as much data and there will be more to choose from.

The first thing I'll be doing is setting up a gladiator areana to see who would win between between zombies, aliens, snowmen, gingerbreadmen, octupus men, dinosaurs and of course monkeys :D

I love the TimeSplitters Series...

Played all 3 to death... Really hope they make IV... Also hope the map maker would be limitless for once...

I can already think of all the stupidness they could do with TS4:

- Zombie mode (Like CODs but more humourous)
- Alien invasion mode
- Aliens vs Zombies
- Pirates vs Ninjas
- Virus mode returns
- Capture the bag returns
- Monkey Fight
- Defend your base mode (There was an awesome multiplayer level like this in TS2)
- Brick fight
- Snowball fight

There are so many things they could do that would keep me addicted forever that I can't even continue ^^
I want a multiplayer map that spans several time zones.
And that zombie mode could be just like a multiplayer version of Behead the Undead.

EDIT: I could also imagine a zombie campaign level set at the first time zombies appear in public, and very unsubtely name it "Time 2 Split". Would work as a joke too since the number refers to the maximum number of players.

Well for a while it looked like the game wasn't ever coming out, but now it looks a bit more promising, Crytek UK (formerly Free Radical) have basically said they will do it sometime. And now with less realistic FPSs coming out and probably gonna make buckets of money, I imagine they will seriously consider starting work on it soon.

The only one I ever owned was Future Perfect and I would consider that my favourite ever PS2 game. So yes I would love another timesplitters game.

As for the story, well they don't really need to address anything to continue the plot. Just say Crowe wasn't the REAL creator of the Timesplitters, and that it was something else easy.
Eh, fuck continuity. Just reboot the series and start over again.
In regards to TS2, I never made sense of the story anyway (mind you I was quite young). All I knew was that I was having a helluva lotta fun. Best game ever on the PS2 imo. Can't wait for a 4th installment (I just hope it's going to be multi-platform because I don't have a PS3.

This is precisely the reason a sequel needs to be made, very few GAMES are this funny :D Let alone FPS titles.

Fucking loved Future Perfect, my favorite FPS ever, I miss playing it. ):

I was stoked when 4 was announced but then Haze and Bankruptcy happened. Shame really, I hope it is picked back up.
I know how you feel, I wasn't particularly happy when they announced Haze but I figured what they hell, it couldn't hurt, new IPs can't be a bad thing, especially if they are made by the creators of my favourite FPS series ever.......I was horribly wrong :(
Indeed, I was really disappointed with Free Radical made Haze so bad, I mean after the TS series I thought they'd be capable of a decent FPS. Guess they just weren't good at being serious after TS was so comedic, even Second Sight was pretty tongue in cheek. I loved that game too...

If Duke Nukem Forever got picked back up, I promise that TSP4 will be picked back up.
One can only hope. D:

Do it! Do it! Do it!!

No FPS has interested me as much as, and no multiplayer game was so immensely fun as the Timesplitters series! I have been waiting for years for TS4! The market seems to be leaning towards more wacky games, I guarantee it will sell well!

Come on Crytek bring back Timsplitters, I still play TS2 and Future Perfect no other FPS can fill the space I have for Timesplitters in my heart. Just remember it needs to have 4-player split screen multiplayer and monkeys.
