I finally looked up the medical name for what I've always done today, and I have discovered that I am called an "ideopathic toe-walker".
Meaning: I walk on my toes and no one knows why. There's no medical reason; my Achille's tendons aren't too short and I don't have autism or cerebral palsy. I just tip-toe. Even when I walk heel-toe, I tend to put all my weight on the balls of my feet. Even when wearing high heels. I can look at the bottoms of my shoes and see that the toes are worn down while the heels aren't.
I know I'm not the only one on this forum who tip-toes! It's a fairly common occurence (though it's usually gone by the time you're my age, 19). Come forward and be recognized!
