I'm so tired of this arguing between gamers. Honestly, will we ever accept each other, and recognize that we are all one thing: Gamers. Not Pc gamers, not console gamers, just gamers. The vocal, fanboy minority ruins this for everyone, causing hate and strife based on their vicious comments, fueling the fire of arguments. It makes me ashamed to call myself a gamer sometime.

What some people never seem to realize is that every system, platform, and handheld has positives and negatives that equate to differing opinions with no opinion being right or wrong. A system must be superior both in their eyes and the eyes of everyone else. There are elitists/fanboys on all sides.
Game publishers just go where the money is and consoles tend to garner more money because of a larger and more open demographic. Most other gamers just buy the system that has the exclusives they want. A 2 part problem for PC gamers that can't easily be overcome. As such this has lead to a lot of anger coming from that side of the equation and an even more numerous "shut up!" from everyone else. People can argue how the PC is obviously superior but it falls on deaf ears when publishers hold the money and they prefer a return profit over the satisfaction of a smaller demographic. It's unfortunate but if the reverse was happening and console owners were getting the short end of the stick would it really fix anything?

You know I was going to write about how most P.C gamers I've met aren't anymore elitist than console gamers. Then only three pages in and we already have people cursing down console gamers for being unintelligent and apparently lacking the ability to spell.
Though honestly I'm fed up with it. Really fed up with the bigotry with all this console P.C shite. Hey guess what... They're fucking computer games... Constantly having to read this shit all the time over computer games, console wars, P.C wars is really taking its toll on me. How much of a pathetic bastard do you have to be to judge someone based on what he plays his video games on. I mean, if you don't like the console or the computer... Fair enough, you don't like them. You want to point out the flaws in each console or computer system, you do that, that's grand. However don't judge the people playing them out of the logic that some how because you play X your clearly better than those that play Y.
I imagine with this rant I may get my first warning on this site however I'm just so frustrated with this. Specially with those two posts that I'm really offended over. The whole "Your not a P.C gamer so obviously your unintelligent". Really pissed off about that one.
I can't believe they only got warnings for that. That's just straight up discrimination right there. Just the same with the console wars, the whole Casual versus Hardcore. We gamers like to pride ourselves on our intelligence because were all pretty much big nerds however we still fall into these pits of ignorance.

Probably going to have to stick a flame shield up for it. I will say that, if you haven't figured this out by now, this isn't just aimed at P.C gamers... its aimed at the lot, console elitists, P.C elitists... Hardcore, Casual elitists.
