after my best friend totally betrayed me, committed a crime against me (destroyed my camera deliberately) & reported me to the police for telling her to fuck off over bebo, in favour of some fair-weather friends who ditched her after a month or so when she was no longer useful to them, I lost faith in humanity. I lost the ability to totally trust anyone outside my family.

Erghhhh, thats just depressing. Some people really think a) Stalin was interested in socialism, b) Hilter was interested in socialism, and c) that they wheren't just lying dictators who used the word socialist the same way most businesses who corporate bullshit words.

I don't read it, but enough of my students' parents do that they manage to spread the sensationalist ridiculosity (Is that a word?) that that cause a loss in my faith on humanity.
