If everyone spend their time trying to fight all the bad things in the world, like disiease, war, poverty, famine etc. Then no-one would have time to make all the things, that makes live mroe than just mere survival.
Life without purpose, be it gaming, sports or kids, is just lik esitting and waiting for death.
umm i think if everyone spent there time trying to remove the problems you just mentioned they would be doing it for a PURPOSE(fixing the world) and not just sitting around doing nothing till they die.

A life with purpose purely means to have goals and not just wing it till you get to the end and winging it can often be more of an adventure than aiming for the goals society tells you to Good Job House family etc
circular logic.

"we (humanity) live to make sure we can keep living"

What i was trying to say is, that theres a need for other things than just making maintaining easier.
In most cases, people get a job, so they've got money for food and a house so they have shelter, i know some people love their job, and would keep it if they won a billion in the lottery, but in most cases it's just for maintaining a life. If tehre was no suck "luxury" things as bacon-floss, music, movies, tv's, video-games, sports, nice cars, crack and hookers, beer etc. then people would just work to maintain themselves, and wouldn't need more money than it took, to have a small apaprtment for shelter, and enough food to survive.
It doesn't have to be what society dictates, you can live for whatever you want to live for, be it gaming, stoning or donkey-porn, but living just for teh sake of living sound really booring.
actually the same circular logic applies most people only have a job because there told that thats the norm so they can have the luxury stuff that they dont need (like bacon floss) to fill the points of time betweeen work and sleep

the only way to truly live life to the fullest is to through all the material BS out the window and do whateva makes you happy regardless of whether or not that maintains your life as regularly as you want

it used to be you could get by fairly well without having a fulltime job moving from place to place working when you needed nowadays everything is more regulated and people less trusting of the new guy in town

Not everything is luxury which we only want cause some advertising-dude said so.
As you said yourself, the only way to live life to the fulelst is to do thwe things that makes you happy, and what if that requires money? i like having a roof over my head, i like not beeing naked (unless it's "naked time" ofc) i like beeing able to eat. all of this costs money, but thats pretty much just maintaining. Then Comes gaming, which costs money as well, i need a PC so i can game, i need to buy the games, i need an internet connection, i need electricity etc.
I need money for trains and busses so i can go and visit my girlfriend, friends and family.
and i needed lots of money for school, so i can get the education i want (3d animation) so when i'm done, i'll end up witha job that i really can enjoy, instead of a job which i have purely for the sake of making money.
I can do all this with a part time job. i used to work 50+ hours a week evening, night and weekend shifts for 2½ years to save up for my school.
You can still move from place to place if you want to. I've never experienced The new guy in town thing you talk about, but then i've never lived in a really small town before. If you move to a city, theres no such thing as that, cause you'll never get to know anything clsoe to 10% of the people living there anyways, cause theres just so many people, and i even come from a country where our largest city has only about 1.000.000 inhabitants. So i suppose youre talking about very small towns, cause otherwise i don't really get your last paragraph.

Christianity mainly.
Ooh, edgy.

Come on, you know as well as me that the entirety of the Christian population isn't defined by people like Westboro Baptist.

The main problem with "good" Christians is that they never blab people at people that they are Christian, so people don't have the "good" side to counterbalance the "bad" side.

Just keep in mind that if a Christian is a total jerk to someone, they CANNOT contextually back up their behavior in the Bible.
Everyone who calls themself a Christian is a jerk, the only question is how much jerky they are. Some are quiet good jerkys and some are jerkys who needs to be thrown of a cliff.
Either you believe in a one allpowerful deity disregardless of faith, or you do not.

Christianity is not such belief.
Yes it tells about GOD but it also says that all other believes are false.
Islam, is the same. Catholic is the same and so forth. All these are the same religion interperted diffrently by retarded humans.

I have no problems with people who believe in a higher deity, but when they say "I'm a Christian", that's where I punt them of their high mountain.
Ummm... Yeeeeaaaahhhh... Absolutely NO religion claims to believe in the same God as any other.

So your implication that others do is false.

And thus, by your logic, you wish to punt all religious people off cliffs.

Which doesn't reflect on you too well.

Exactly.
But the large ones are all praying to the God Almighty. Just that they differ because the bookwriter was an ass who said "This is the way I want it."

And how does it not reflect me well?
I want to throw relgiious people of cliffs because they say the most retardest things ever known to mankind.

How does it not reflect me well?

I am sure that there are plent others who feel exactly the same way as I do.
I'll drop the whole "You're outnumbered" thing because it's pointless.

But about the whole "ass bookwriter", Christianity manages to dodge that, by having multiple people write it over several centuries, all coming up with a consistent image. I think Sikhism, Judaism, and Hinduism do as well.

Actually, so do most religions (except for Islam and Mormonism, to my knowledge).

So that point wasn't useful.

And I must snicker at you for saying that religious people say the "most retardest" stuff ever.
