Is there still "Stupid" dialogue if you pick a low Int?
No. Fucking Bethesda is cheap.
I'm still going to call them out on that, but after seeing the insane marketing for this game, that must have cost double their budget.

Thank you guys for your answers.

I might get this game one day. Will see if it deserves the hype.

I'm not a big fan of Oblivion but I'm not an Oblivion hater, either.
This game seems to be somewhere between Fallout 2 and Oblivion for me, which is not bad.

Something I don't understand is why they made such ironic ads for a game that seems to take itself very serious.
I can't help but feel like Bethesda tried hard to catch the mood of the original Fallout and failed.

I'm an Old School Fallout Fan and I posted an Impressions Review in the Reviews Section that conveys my opinions in detail... but to sum up.

This is not Black Isle's Fallout, this is Bethesda's Fallout, it is different.

VATS is better than the old Fallout battles, period, stop.

Dialogue is very Fallout Esque and plays out similarly to the first Fallout, but lacks the extreme refinement of Fallout 2's dialogue trees.

World is more bleak and realistic.

Sidequests are interesting and involved and often present way more "Story" than they do in Oblivion.

In General has far more of a Story Focus than Oblivion.

Feels alot like Oblivion in the right places, ex. All Skills are Useful... in their own way.

Overall it's a better game than Oblivion, but it isn't quite what the original Van Buren could have been, however this is as good as we're going to get unless a miracle happens and Bioware picks the damn property up, but that is unlikely and we'd have no garauntees it wouldn't feel off.

I love this game. Its gritty, dark, and foreboding in it's atmosphere. It's fun, the character actually have quasi-varied voice acting (Some may sound the same, but not in the Oblivion sense).

Also, unlike Oblivion, this game is challenging. In Oblivion, I murdered that game. I RARELY died, slaughtered everything, and it was never really a challenge (Except where I made a guy that only used hand-to-hand fighting...and I still slaughtered everything).

This game, however, is totally unforgiving. I'll be rushed by 5 or 6 raiders with assault rifles and grenades while I'm already weak from a previous fight and have very low ammo...

Let the white knuckle battle begin! Sure, I wouldn't have encountered them if I fast traveled, but where is the fun in that? Besides, the guns, ammo, and XP I'm getting from these fights outweigh the crippled legs, arms, and torso I have when crawling back into town...unless I meet another raider group. Which has happened.

Now this 'unforgiving' aspect may sound like a negative, but I really like it. It's way more like Fallout. It's you against the wasteland, and the wasteland isn't pulling punches.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to daydream the rest of my day at work away while I wish I was at home playing...

P.S. I HATE those fire ants.

Well I can't compare it to Oblivion because I've never played it (never caught my eye). But having played the original Fallout games I have to say that Bethesda has done a very good job interpreting the Fallout universe for a new generation. The atmosphere is very well crafted and there is always a sense of dread and loneliness as you explore the waistland. The art style and imagery all capture that sarcastic ambience the original games where known for. Again, I can't compare this to Oblivion, but I can say that the RPG elements are also pretty satifying and deep (I think other posters have explained those pretty well, so I'll suppress that explaination).

It's great how you hold your opinion as fact, yet present no reason.

In what way is it better? BECUZ IT LOOKZ COOL? It's definetly not more strategic, all you do is pause the game and shoot them in the head. It's fun but not exactly deep, nor any better than old Fallout combat.
Instead of spewing out bile you should read his review.

Oh and to sum fallout 3 with 3 words:

Oblivion With Guns
Why would I read his review when his post is right there? I spewed no 'bile'
The idiocy of some people is astounding. You should read the review becaue

I haven't played the old fallouts but 3 certainly feels like The Elder Scrolls 5: Washington DC.

The dumbass responses of some people astounds me. I responded to his post not his fucking review.
Do you understand the concept of summing something up? He is merely stating the points, that he expanded greatly upon in the review. Yet you are asking him to expand?
You hurt my brain.
