Mods, if one regards a thread to be important, would you consider it acceptable for a poster to hit the report button, refresh the page and then hit it again?
Please, no. Actually, now that I think about it, I'm not sure that would even work.
I remember reading that the system is: One report, per user, per post.

Did I just know more about the reporting system than a staff member?

I will maintain my studious neutrality and simply restate my original position: I'm glad that you are still with us, Cheeze.
Heh--I understand completely. I'd never ask people to take sides. Although I think sometimes if it would be better if I did go: kinda like the Lone Wanderer leaving Vault 101--too much bad history. It's a damn shame the Darths ever found this place, and that people ever paid any attention to them. I feel like they did a lot to transform this place from one where people could have vigorous disagreements where at the end they respected each other more, to one where every debate was a matter of moral conflict where each side had to see the other as an example of everything that is wrong with gaming/America/democracy/the world/etc.

And I understand completely if you disagree with me on that last point ;-D
I do. I do not believe that the Escapist is such a place, however, I respect that you have your reasons for such an opinions.

Eh, don't get too excited. Everyone knows more than I do. :)

I dunno I'm incredibly impressed by the moderators. I was notified that I was on probation, I was told why (shown with the post) and I was also told how to dispute it. But, I didn't feel it was necessary to dispute it. Oh well that's just my anecdotal evidence,

Okay, Alex_P isn't responding to me at all, so I have another complaint.
It may surprise you to know that *I'm not actually online all the time*.

Anyway, when you have an issue with moderation, the appropriate thing to do is to talk to a community manager, not to go posting every little niggling thing to this thread.

Psst, any specific questions about actions taken by staff or moderators can be PMed to me. Also, I really do like hearing suggestions from our community on ways to improve things (it is, after all, your community too).

Okay, Alex_P isn't responding to me at all, so I have another complaint. This [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/326.121855] thread was locked simply because it wasn't enough of a review.
I have a feeling it was locked for other, rather obvious reasons, but that note was put there to ah, 'diplomatically' close the thread.
What other, rather obvious, reasons are you referring to??

Don't worry about the spambot, the posts will be gone soon.
That guys was more of a super spambot! Probably the longest spam post I have every seen. Were all of his posts spam? He almost had 150 posts.
