Today I finished HL 2, ep 2I, I then did something I have never in my ten years of gamming done, I clapped, and a tear may have slipped, what an amazing experience, especially the last scene, I'd just like to know of any other emotional type outbreaks anyone here has had after playing a great... or horrible game, thanks!

PS: I want HL ep 3!!!, enough with your left for dead, bring freeman back! Agree or no?

It will be done when it's done. Telling Valve to hurry the fuck up won't help anyone and will just make you even more impatient.

I felt a massive wave of release when I finished Quantum of Solace, knowing I would never have to touch it again.

I also felt like crying with joy when I finally got rid of Dark Sector.

I felt happy when I finished FF VII as it took about 100 hours of my childhood away.

I understand that, but I just wanted to know if people agreed with the , worry less about your other titles and focus on freemen approach? not rush it, focus more manpower on the title.

Why have we had multiple threads on this in the last week? The game is two years old.

The result of which... Think how we feel! We've been waiting for episode three much longer than you!

At this point, Half-Life will always have a strong fanbase. It's there new titles such as L4D that need to grow a larger fanbase, so that is why they are focusing more attention upon them.

Thanks a lot jerk

I had forgotten what happened to poor Eli Vance, and i had forgotten my fury over the fact that there isn't even a trailer of ep. 3!

I'm not really mad at you...

MAKE A TRAILER ALREADY!

Congratulations, now you can join the rest of us pathetic valve fanboys in spurring Gabe Newell and co. on to finish developing Ep3.

Also... Left4Dead is awesome. Don't badmouth it.

I've guessed for a while that Valve didn't quite grasp the concept of episodic content, but you know, given the quality of Episode 2, the wait will probably be worth it.

Theres usually atleast one per day. Maybe two or three.

You get used to it.

That's true, just give Valve all the time they need and before you know it they'll release "Duke Nukem Forever".

I mean Half Life 2 Episode 3. Sorry for the mistake, I tend to get those two titles confused.

It's better to just forget the half life series ever existed in general. When you hear of ep 3 coming out you'll think "Oh yeah, I liked those games. I should get the new one. Sure took them awhile to finish...". Then you won't have to deal with the wait.

What are you complaining about? According to this, you just played episode twenty-one! I didn't even know there was such a thing...

By the way, in response to your question: Half-life 2 vanilla made me flip Gabe Newall the bird from a continent away. What a slap to the face...

Once you accept the fact that Episode 3 won't be released for a really long time, it makes waiting a lot easier.

Ah True... still, it's a fantastic game. :/ And Episode three is about due now I think; or at least any trailers.

I've been a long time Half-Life fan so I'm shivering with anticipation for Episode 3. I know they like to make sure the episode is going to be polished and as close to perfection as possible because that's just how they do things story-and-gameplay-wise. But come on Valve, throw us a frickin' bone already... in the gap between Episode 1 and Episode 2 we had two trailers and six gameplay footage movies, half of which were significantly different from the finished product. We want just some idea of what to expect... all we know is it will involve a boat and a lot of ice.

By comparing Episode 3 to Duke Nukem Forever, your suggesting that it will never be released. And that makes no sense. The wait for Episode 3 is nothing compared to how long people have been waiting for Duke Nukem Forever. Many of Valve's other products have taken much longer to complete than Episode 3 has (so far).

It's not like Valve is just going to abandon their must successful franchise.

I'd rather them not show anything about Episode 3 until it is very close to being released. The second they show us a trailer, waiting patiently for Episode 3 will be much more difficult.
