Use your internet time now to download a single player game like Oblivion? I'm generally in consensus with the playing of single player things. Else, go out and see friends?

Play a single player game.

That's what I would do.
Boom. If it was unexpected, so I couldn't go into Steam offline, well, I have my PS2 here. I have my keyboard next to me. I have a ridiculous amount of books behind me. I have plenty of shows to watch. I'd be fine with no internet access. Hell, it happens sometimes, the dangers of using the intranet of my University.

One thing you shouldn't EVER do.
Don't make a big controversial or confrontational post in a heated thread right before the net goes down. You'll drive yourself nuts wondering whether or not people are posting and quoting you and if your behavior puts you in trouble with the mods.

As it stands, I'd mostly just watch movies and stuff.

I'd work my way through a pile of books that've been on my to-do list for a long while. If that got boring I'd start writing or drawing, maybe even go outside for a few minutes until I realized how bright the sun was.

I went 3 years without any form of internet once, it's a time I'd rather not think of...but it is possible.

I'd probably re-read one or two of my books. Or draw, who knows.

Or meet up with friends, go get lunch or something. There's loads of possibilities, y'know?

Well, I would read A Dance With Dragons, but seeing as it's not out yet[footnote]FUCK YOU, AMAZON .DE, TAUNTING ME LIKE THAT![/footnote] I guess that curling up into a fetal position and hiding under my desk would have to suffice. :p

i've been in plenty of situations where i was unable to access the net, or even a computer, and my response was- it was really boring. -.-

I'd stay up until it goes offline, then go to bed.
You'd wake up around the time it's back online!

If not; write a song, watch some movies and play a few single player games.

I might ACTUALLY do my summer reading assignments... It'd be a first that they didn't all get done at band camp the week before school starts. Ironically, English requires an essay over the analysis (agree or disagree type of thing) given by Sparknotes, which I can only access by internet for the time being... Dilemma.

Really?
I leave for boot camp tomorrow. I don't get internet, videogames, homemade meals, or basic freedoms for two months. My sympathy for you is sparse
Read a damn book

I would probably go out and see some friends if they are available and hang out or maybe go and watch a movie, play the guitar, watch a DVD, read, or play a single player game or something. The internet is not the only form of entertainment out there, use this as a chance to get into new things, try out new hobbies.

Fix (glue, paint etc) my Thousand Sons and Sorcerer Lord, then go and play Warhammer Tabletop with some of my friends =) and then there's always my bike and the gym, so I think I would have it covered.

from 7:00 till 19:00, due to maintenance to the network.
This will also knock out our phone line and cable tv (same company)

So what should I do on this last day with internet?
Before you mention porn, I may or may not have that covered.

And more importantly, what shall I do tomorrow, when all contact to the outside world will be taken from me.

Yes, I could still go outside, but it's warm and active, it scares me.

All silliness aside, what would you do if you had no internet, phone or tv for a day.
... oh, and for some totally unexplored reason, your consoles don't work either.
Thats pretty much everyday with my fucking internet service...

12 hours without internet?

I've got my Black Lagoon manga and DVDs, my three guitars, my Red vs Blue DVDs, and a bunch of Tom Clancy books. I hope I can survive.

My internet was cut for two months. I played on the Wii the whole time, but eventually I got bored as Hell. I just sat by the router, waiting for the green light to come on.

Then, when we moved house again, it was off for a few weeks. That time though I had Fallout 3.

Ahh, so much progress.
