I do the opposite. I love using complicated words. And I love even more when they ask what it means.

I never change my comments to something "simpler" for the sake of an idiot audience. Mocking the limitations of those around me is one of my major joys in life. I might even educate them if they ask me about what I said, in the most cutting and corrosive manner that I can. I'm a real fucker to play with in Scrabble or Trivial Persuit (provided I actually know the subject matter).

Conversely, I also have no problem in admitting when I don't know something and blowing the subject matter off as irrelevant.


Basically I'm just a fairly well-read and literate prick.

Often I have had to explain words to friends for example: syllable, droll, impudence and, funnily, impotence.

Also due to the fact that this man is a TvTropes addict, some trope phrases sometimes feature in his language, alienating and confusing friends and family.
