Also, I'd have to ask you why a game that you say is "All right" should be on your worst 5 games list. That, surely, defeats the point?

I'm not going to ***** about 5 games I don't like, because compared to some games that I've seen, the games I don't like to play are by no means the worst games ever made.

My opinion is not qualified enough to let me create such a list that I wouldn't feel like a dick for making.

I have to agree with this. Any major game that's been released cannot fairly be judged the 'worst' in any way possible. There are thousands of crappy games most of us don't hear about much, if at all.

I mean, hell, thinking about all the crappy games my little sister played when we were younger would give a much fairer answer.

I'm in concurrence with this fellow. Besides, you list doesn't even have ET and Custer's Revenge. Most of the games on the list are supposedly just mediocre, and your number five choice even had you calling it "alright", and you can't call a game shit because you couldn't get into it.

Horrible Story. Short too. Easy multiplayer, no dedicated servers for computer.

Since those are two of my favorite games.
Also, what the hell? "Easy multiplayer"? DOn't you mean cheap?
The story was allright but not too important and the dedicated servers do not matter that much. I don't see how that's the worst game ever.

4:Borderlands:Too much management, why can't the game just auto-pick the best gun for me instead of me having to go through the inventory comparing stats and abilities?

Top 5 Worst Games of all time? No.. most people here are listing games they simply couldnt get in to or didnt want to give a chance, I mean come on, its the WORST games, putting Dragon Age: Origins as a worst game because you couldnt get into it is just stupid

Could you explain that one for me? I get most of the other rage in this topic (i.e. I don't like JRPGs, I don't like FPSs, I don't like sci-fi, etc. etc. etc.), but how does this fit in? Do you hate action/platformers with high production values, and does that make them worthy of the title "worst?" I'm just curious.

On topic, I can't think of many truly awful games that I hated with a passion, but Guitar Hero: Van Halen was pretty terrible.

I know what you mean, it took me a while to get into it as well. But it's worth it, I suggest you give it another chance.

Only games I've actually owned and played, otherwise it's academic:

1.E.T. - Yes, actually owned it. Yes it's as bad as you heard
2.Wing Commander Armada - A shameful title in such a great series
3.SimEarth - Over-complex to a ridiculous degree
4.Police Quest: SWAT (first one) - Broken, Broken, Broken game.
5.Heroes of the Lance - WHY DON'T YOU MOVE WHEN I SAY! FUCK!!
