EDIT: Somewhat Related Sidenote: I counted all the pokémon in all my pokémon games (Yellow, Ruby, Diamond, HG, SS) I have 1132 Pokémon and if I traded all of them to one of my DS games I would have all 493 in the Pokedex. I've caught them all and now they throw another generation at us? FFFUUUUUUUUUUU

Top 5? a 6th would mean you get a team of them tho -.-

1. smeargle (I LOVE this crazy painting fool. I mean, the kinda combo's u can pull off with him are almost ENDLESS (there are a limit to the number of moves in game) i.e extreme speed and transform into opposing snorlax at last minute. WHAM!!!)

2. a tie between Garchomp and Flygon. I loved Flygon first but... well... Garchomp is just Garchomp.

3. Empoleon. Seriously, a massive steel penguin, he justifies his own coolness.

4. a 3 way tie between Scizor, Scyther and Kabutops (or just scizor). I didn't know what they were when they came out but im still using them because, well, i havn't found a reason not to.

So... Smeargle, Garchomp, Empoleon, Scizor and...

5. Haunter or Froslass. Probably Haunter... i wanna type Froslass but Haunter.

 

[Midnight Crossroads]

-Machamp
Always the workhorse of my party. It's not the prettiest pokemon, but it will mess shit up. Everyone talks about how hard that Miltank was in Silver/Gold. I one-shot that cow with karate chop. And with the ability to hit ghost pokemon now, nothing can stop it.
-Ninetails
It's pretty. It also shoots fire balls out of its ass.
-Dragonaire
Same as Ninetails, but it's dragon lightening instead of fire. Too bad it evolves into Puff the Magic Dragon.
-Gyarados
Same as Machamp. Dragon Rage is stupid powerful at lower levels.
-Ivysaur
It's ugly and cute at the same time.
