I have 1132 Pokémon and if I traded all of them to one of my DS games I would have all 493 in the Pokedex. I've caught them all and now they throw another generation at us? FFFUUUUUUUUUUU
I'm guessing you mean total, and not 1132 DIFFERENT pokemon. Also, inst the point of the pokemon games to make more so we can catch them all?
OT: there's a lot of ways I could make the list (by game, over all, visually appealing, typing, etc) but I'll just go with Overall. This excludes the new pokemon, cause I havent played with any yet and gotten used to them, though I dont think I'm gonna like any except the electric Zebra one. They seem to balanced and/or broken type wise.
Top Five:
1) Vaporeon
its a Sp. Attack/HP tanking monster that provides support in wish, and will make any team its one better for it. Besides, it gets HYDRATION in the new game. Does anyone else know how unbelievably AWESOME that now makes Vaporeon? Thats like pretty much guaranteeing an uber ranking if paired with Kyogre, or ran in a rain dance set team

2) Typhlosion
What Vaporeon is in HP, typhlosion is in speed. its a powerhouse monotyped fire pokemon that runs a mean Sp. Atk/speed set that hits hard and destroys teams. Plus, it gets a wide variety of moves, including most fire moves, earthquake, thunderpunch, and solar beam. You run that in a Sunny day set and you got a recipe for destruction. Plus, you get it as the evolution of a starter, and the starter was freaking awesome! Probably the only fire type starter that tops it for me is Blaziken, but just the fact Typhlosion does all this with a fire monotype is awesome enough for it to outclass the other fire starters.

3) Gardevior
Again, Sp. Atk here, but its an awesome pokemon for it plus it provides wish/will-o-wisp support. Its versatile with T-bolt, Shadow Ball, Energy ball, Focus Blast, Psychic, the element punches. Thats a variety of type coverage, and thats just special moves (with the exception of the punches). besides, look at her (usually a girl. If oyu have a guy, you may as well evolve it to a Gallade). I mean... *stares* um... wait, I lost my train of thought. XD

4) Ampharos
This one is kinda for Special attack, though more so for the wall set you can run with it. It has both light screen and barrier, and is great in support. Plus it gets power gem/signal beam, as well as t-bolt or other electric types. Besides, I just like it. I mean, it looks cool. and cuddly. like the perfect pet.

5) Dragonite
oka, to start, I've like dragonite since R/B/Y so I'm not one of those people that picked the garchomp or salamance, then needed a dragon when it went Uber. Dragonite is awesome in its ability to mix, be sp. atk, or phys. atk. Its a juggernaut of power and pseudo-legendary, as well as next to boost up to Uber. But besides that, its just cool. it put dragons on the map, and is still a reliable, capable pokemon that can beat out most of its upper class cousins.
