No particular order (doing so would be very hard)

Grim Fandango - Funny, terrifically written and emotional - everything that once made LucasArts a great company

Curse of Monkey Island - See above :)

Left 4 Dead - This game has brought me and three of my co-workers together every other weekend. And its rekindled my love for yelling at the TV when the AI survivors do something stupid.

X-Wing Alliance - *drool*

Star Wars: Republic Commando - My favorite squad base shooter that has really kick ass music. Vode An!

Mafia - Come for the GTA style gameplay, stay for one of the best stories and character driven dramas ever created for a video game.

Half-Life 2 - An excellent story driven FPS. I make it a point to play through this game (and its episodes) once a month.

Jax and Daxter - Daxter is my hero! Despite suffering from the frustrations of 3D platforms, this game was a blast to play

BioShock - Great music, great art design, great alternative to Ayn Rand's tome

Ace Combat 4 - Because this game has made me feel the need for speed like none other.

In no particular order:

Monkey Island (series): A game with an actual sense of humour, with a genuinely likeable and relateable (who doesn't/didn't want to be a pirate at some point?) protagonist. Also contains monkeys, voodoo, monkeys, creative insults, and monkeys.
Saints Row 2: A GTA-clone where you play as what you'd want to be in that kind of environment - a complete nutcase without an angsty backstory.
Worms (series): Exploding sheep. That is all.
Crash Bandicoot: Warped: In my opinion, the peak of Crash's career before he sold out and started ripping off other series.
Portal: I don't need to justify this one. Anyone who's played it will know exactly what it is I love about this game.
Pokemon Crystal: Twice the size of Red/Blue/Yellow, plus you could catch Suicune without having to chase it for hours. And who wouldn't jump at the opportunity to feed Ash's Pikachu to him?
Fallout 3: Blasting your way through Dystopia #13594 to the music of Billie Holiday. What's not to like?
Psychonauts: I want one of those Brain Portal things. NOW.
Snatcher: I've never been able to work out what it is I like about this particular game, I... just... do.
Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes: The story of MGS1 (possibly the least brain-haemorrhaging badger-crap story in the series) coupled with the gameplay of MGS2, which was a whopping improvement on the original.

In THIS ORDER, from best to worst (I mean-- why the Hell not?)

1. Portal-- You know why.
2. Geneforge-- You don't know why, and for that reason you will burn in the blackest Stygian Pit.
3. Overlord II-- Hey, it was actually pretty good
4.Prince of Persia (2008)-- A divine message from above
5. Assassin's Creed-- I liked it, at least.
6. Bioshock-- Again, you know why.
7. Prince of Persia: Warrior Within-- What you call emo, I call badass (in this case, at least).
8. Gears of War 2-- CHAINSAW!
9. SINS-- Why not? It was fun, got its point across, didn't have any DRM, and did its job.
10. 5 Days a Stranger-- ...Do I really have to explain this one?

In no particular order...

Pokémon, as it was my gateway into RPGs.
EarthBound, for it's wonderfully oddball existence and story.
BioShock, for... um... being awesome. Yeah.
Spyro the Dragon (PSOne trilogy), for being one of my favorite platformers.
Jump Ultimate Stars, for having enough content to make me spend way too much time on it.
Kingdom Hearts, because it made classic Disney badass.
Tekken 3, for introducing me to fighters, and being a good enough experience for me to love them ever since.
Whichever Mario game I played first, for being Mario.
N, for being so hard I quit and never went back.
And finally (and most recently), BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger for being the first anime-type game I genuinely liked.

In no order, because it is really hard to put them in order:
GTAIV or GTA2
BIA: Hell's highway
MGS4 and Metal Gear online
Just cause
Half life 2
Call of duty 4
Hulk: Ultimate destruction
inFAMOUS
Motorstorm pacific rift
And i can't think of a tenth game

I'm hesitant about putting Valkyria chronicles on the list, since I suck so hard at the game i can't go far enough into it to get enough story and gamplay. To give you an idea of how far i got, i'm at the level in which alicia an welkin are alone in the woods and have to escape.
I'm also hesitant about putting skies of arcadia, since i've only seen all the cutscenes, and not actually played it. Still a good plot though.
