Because i think they are quite a bit more funny to watch then the success ones. Of course during the game i really do hate to see them. And when they do fail i can rely on extremely fun and unbalanced combat.

Shogun 2, really? I'm surprised... I don't get how this will work well. Some things sound good but there are some others that sound terrible.

Especially after reading this IGN Preview (http://pc.ign.com/articles/109/1093664p1.html) my excitement is kinda killed but I'll get it anyway because it's TW, it will still be good, right?

I didn't want another game where every faction has the exact same units but it looks like thats the way its going to be.

And the super-heroes the article talks about sounds ****ing annoying. TW is not Dynasty Warriors... well, it is now

For me, I'm hoping ancient China, specifically 5th to 3rd century BC and the Warring States era. Iron begins to replace bronze, no real unifying leader, lots of historical wars and conflicts etc.

Or they could do Romance of the Three Kingdoms era, though that might step onto the toes of a certain publisher.

I would TOTALLY love that! You might know the Romance of the Three Kingdoms game (especially XI), it's not that bad, though I'd love to see a Total War version of the Three Kingdoms novel. Since I am big fan of Chinese and Japanese history I'd probably jump 10 metres high .

I'm good with Shogun anyhow, but I'd prefer China.
