You know, the Toy Story IP is owned by Disney, not Pixar...jackpackage200 said:Of course, when an amazing trilogy has closure, they have have to make a cash in sequel. Damn you Pixar.
So then why did you quote me? I didn't say anything about Pixar.gigastar said:You know, the Toy Story IP is owned by Disney, not Pixar...
And likewise Pixar is also owned by Disney...
Probable that Pixar doesnt have a say in the matter...
And most importantly we all should know that if Pixar puts in the effort then the goose will probably lay yet another golden egg.
When you write a vauge one-liner youre really leaving it up the the readers interpretation. This was such a case.Hazy992 said:So then why did you quote me? I didn't say anything about Pixar.gigastar said:You know, the Toy Story IP is owned by Disney, not Pixar...

Completely off topic, but what do you mean "whelp it was a nice ride"? I've seen the word being used that way (and by that way I mean, not in the way that the word means) in a story I'm reading and assumed it was some bad translation, and I can't for the life of me work out why. Is it just the hip way of saying well? /old man mode.CODE-D said:I thought toy story 3 wasnt as good as 2 or was it really needed, pixar has begun milking their franchises. Whelp it was a nice ride while it lasted but everyone sells out eventually.
I think "It was a nice ride" is just the guy reminiscing about the amazingness that was the trilogy, and with another sequel coming so soon after the ending of Toy Story's Andy trilogy is just making the franchise a sell out.Richardplex said:Snip
Essentially, yeah. It's the "slang" style of saying "well". I'm not really sure how it ever got popularized, but I've used it a few times myself. Maybe it was a meme...Richardplex said:Completely off topic, but what do you mean "whelp it was a nice ride"?
