"I have not been able to escape...being a generic and boring character." We haven't been able to escape you either, Ezio.

If I wasn't going to get punished for low content posting, my response would have "YES"
Now reflecting on that, that single word wouldn't have expressed how excited I am for this game. I love AC and everything to do with it, I don't care if it sells out, or turns itself into a proper franchise. I don't care if it hangs around for another 10 years like a bad smell, because that bad smell won't be bad, it will be sweet and awesome. /fangirl

Can't wait for this game, also I have to say this now but to those who complain that Ubisoft is streching out Ezio too much should play Brotherhood. During the first hour of the game it becomes clear there would be a sequel when you enter the sanctuary and you see the "ghost/memory/hing" of Ezio when he is old and revisits monteriggioni. Or I could be wrong and that was shown in a DLC I didn't play. In that case ignore everything I said after the first ",".

...We just saw a trailer, for a trailer.
Yeah, this is what I was gonna say.

Say what you want about Ubisoft, but you can't tell me that they don't hype their games enough.

looking forward to this so much. Huge assassin's creed fan.
one thing though, did anyone else notice that Wii is listed as one of the platforms it's coming out on under the video? Either this is a clever joke or things are gonna get gimicky up in here.

Me too, I loved how Brotherhood would slip in some of Ezio's past and a little more about his character.

OT: Damn it Ubisoft! How dare you make me excited about a trailer from a trailer! So, can I assume a November release date then, yes?

Yeah I'm calling bullshit on the phrase "All will be Revealed" In order to fully milk the series Ubisoft has to make at least 2 or 3 more games. They should know this.

Sorry, but I am seriously losing my "give a shit" about this. The games are alright, but I want to get to the one with desmond as the main guy. I want to go climbing and running on the tops of freaking skyscrapers, using james bond gadgets and shit. To me, AS 2 / brotherhood were pretty much just AS 1 with some gameplay tweaks and a few additions, so this will be roughly the 4th game in which I, yet again, run around on roof tops and wait for people to swing so I can counter them. It's not bad but I want some significant evolution here people.

Anyway, no doubt that it'll be good again. I just hope the recurring cast won't get stale in this game. At least I reckon that this'll be the last we'll see from Ezio.
Hell, I hope its the last we see of him.

I mean yeah, he's cool and all, but he had his run. Twice. I want to play as someone new in a new time period already!
I wish we had a new Assassin that wore a top hat and monocle.

Is it just me or are the graphics way better than before? I really hope so, and I especially hope that they've done something about the awful amounts of pop-ups.

Hopefully they'll be back up to Assassin's Creed 1 standards -- it seems stupid that even if you do make a game bigger that it should be done at the expense of the graphics (some parts of AC:Bro were downright ugly; those grassy areas... ugh)
