I love assasins creed and I'm pretty excited for this. But also a little disapointed, I like Ezio a lot he's a great character but I really want to see something different.

The series' premise is awesome in that using Desmond as a framing device you could set a game in any era and still tie it into the main plot, so why are we in Renaissance Italy with Ezio again? You could go anywhere and all the hints of past assasins and the great events around them mentioned in 2 are just begging for a game.

I'm not going to pre-judge and I'm sure this is going to be an awesome game, but I would love to see the series take full advantage of the possiblities the animus creates. What I'm hoping then is that this game will nicely round out Ezio's story (like I said great character and probably deserves some closure) but leave the series in a strong position to delve further into history in future games.

Series has lost momentum.

First game: Altaïr, medieval Middle East
Second game: Ezio, renaissance Italy
Third game: Ezio, renaissance Italy
Fourth game: EZIO, RENAISSANCE FUCKING ITALY

Still it's hardly the leap forward from Altaïr to Ezio.

But Ubisoft is trying to milk Ezio as long as possible. Sure, they're fun games, but its a bit sad to see that the timeline-spanning epic that started in Assassin's Creed has come grinding to a halt after the second game, just because Ubisoft thinks "Welp, everybody loves Ezio, guess we don't have to introduce a new main character".

All Will Be Revealed... I'm willing to bet right now that what gets revealed are new questions. After all, this is the series where the segment known as "The Truth" makes you understand even less what the hell is going on.

Sweet.
I really like how Ezio's voice has reflected his age throughout the series.
And from the sounds of this, it's much deeper to match his older years.

Really? All will be revealed? How are they going to make more sequels if everything is already being revealed to us? o_O
advantage of the animus mechanic, grab someone descended from an assassin stick them in the chair and you've got a story. I don't think they will need to stick to the great moments in history like the last games; i'm sure the assassins and templars had plenty to fight about without the pieces of eden. Can always just make a game in a major historical event like WW2 (for example, no hate for this!) and the gameplay and storytelling would shine through to make it a great game.
