People actually did live to be surprisingly old in the middle ages, all of the average life expectancy statistics were skewed by the huge infant and childhood mortality, if you managed to live to your twenties, barring accident, murder, childbirth or plague you could expect a good chance to hit 60-70s. Also Ezio, Altair and Desmond are all meant to vaguely descended from the Adam and Eve precursor humans, which probably conveys some sort of longevity (pre-flood humans according to the bible supposedly lived for centuries), along with some strength and dexterity bonuses.

As much I want a new character, I really like tough old badasses like Sam Fisher, Geralt and soon to be Ezio. That wealth of violent experience at their fingertips lead to awesomeness.
I did not know that know about the fact that adults lived for so long during in the middle ages, thanks. Really I didn't know they are all vague descendeds, when did any of the games say this? But I do agree that actually makes considered the pre-flood age limit, I always thought it was weird but I like how Ubisoft can use it.

Oh don't get me wrong I love the whole experience trumps youth with Sam Fisher and Ezio I just kinda think it's a waste of such a great concept, re-living the lives of ones ancestors who are also assasains, to only go explore the lives of 2 people and considering how Desmond's succumbing to the bleeding effect I doubt there is going to be that many more games

I think the whole subject 16 thing covered it with the genetic memory of Adam and Eve, the whole precursor race thing. The eagle vision is something inherited from them as well.

A. Ezio looks badass as an old guy.
B. I wish the actual hand-to-hand combat was quite that awesome.
C. Holy shit, this artsy trailer kick companies have been on is pretty impressive.
D. I love this song. Hate Woodkid, but this specific song is great.
E. OMG OMG OMG OMG SO EXCITED.

Also, Ezio is one of my favorite game characters cause it take three games to show his development. I mean goddamn he is in his late 50's and he still showing people he better then half of ALL people his age.
Fixed that for you.

I like how he's reached the peak of his character development. Other than in name, he doesn't resemble himself from Assassin's Creed 2 at all, and I like that about him. Also, if Altaïr hadn't fucked him up, I'm confident Ezio could have taken out that mob.

Supposedly Adam and Eve were among the first hybrids created from those who came before(superhumans who made the pieces of eden and subjugated the lesser humans) and human crossbreeding. People like Adam and Eve are suggested to have started the assassin order. It's used to explain the assassins' natural-born agility, strength, endurance, and their eagle vision. I don't doubt the blood of those who came before promotes longevity as well.

Now, somebody tell me I'm not the only one who thought of

when Ezio's hood is brought down.

It's just I did all the subject 16 stuff and that was never stated.

And no I didn't think it was him, but I thought it wasn't Ezio for a second

Anyone else notice that the particular ledge Ezio is standing (and assumingly, about to leap from) the same one that broke one of your brothers' legs in the first game?

That is some pretty damned good CGI, you could practically mistake that for a live action movie.

Overall, I'm convinced to buy this when it comes out. Want to finish the story, damnit!
This is what I think should be done for all games that will be turned into movies. Let the devs handle it and do it like this. Anyway awesome video and can't wait for the game.
