I think people are overreacting a bit, or overanalyzing in some cases. I'm not a huge fan of rap, but at least the beat was well synchronized with what was happening, and was a little catchy in general. Generally songs aren't chosen for lyrical reference when advertising, but rather to convey a certain emotion or feeling. If the song is catchy, you'll remember it; if that happens, then the ad has done its job.
Personally I think Gears of War's Mad World ad got it right. People apparently agree, seeing as the song was all but unheard of before then.
