I'm at the same place as Shinji. Finding the end of Blight town is giving me trouble. That place is dangerous as heck.

If you can, there's a back door through to Blighttown from the Valley of the Drakes, if you take the entrance from New Londo next to the elevator from Firelink. You only have to fight through 3 of the fat dudes and a couple fire-breathers and then ride the watermill down to the bottom, and right next to the boss. Easy peasy Except of course you lose out on all the precious loot.

Yeah, I already found that shortcut. I guess I've been trying to search in the wrong direction. Thanks!

First things first, I love this game (though that may be a stockholm syndrome sort of love), but what I don't love is the players, nobody votes up other players tips and people keep on putting identical signs infront of yours when you give a good tip.

My big problem though is people who lie, just now I lost 18k souls because some massive tosser put down a sign saying there was a bonfire ahead when there wasn't which led to me dying to toxins.

Seriously, if you do this I hope you die. (and lose 100k souls, you don't think I would ACTUALLY wish death upon someone because im angry do you?)

Massive agree. I keep trying to leave helpful messages and have never gotten a vote up.

I had to rage quit tonight because someone had left notes in Blight Town indicating there was a secret ahead, in fact is was the spot I needed to stand in to have an undead lizard man thing sneak up on me and one hit backstab/eat me! I lost all of my humanity because I couldn't get back there. Fuck the guy who left that message, it's stuff like this that leads normally sane gamers to track little kids down and smack the shit out of them.

Wow. I'm starting to feel glad that I play Offline.

Welp, level 50, currently fighting a fine couple of gents named Ornstein and Smough....it hasn't been going so well. I feel like if I even have one non-AI phantom with me, I can take em...but good god, these two are annoying. Though I have gathered fatty is weak to lightning, and skinny is weak to fire. That's certainly a thing.

If you want to do it the easy way, kill Ornstein first. When you kill one the other heals and gets super powerful, but powerful Ornstein is a lot tougher than powerful Smough.

Though you get the armor and soul of the guy you kill last, so if you want Ornstein's spear and armor, you need to kill him last.

If you want that i suggest getting help, that's how i did it.

Yea, i gathered that much. I was even able to kill Smough and get Ornstein down to a little less than half health with just me and Soltaire the Mentally Challenged but Good Natured Knight. Here's hoping someone other than me will eventually drop their summon sign down for this fight.

If you see yourself randomly getting humanity that is because someone recommended your message but yes From messed up the messageing system since now you have to purchase it and everyone is on multiple random servers instead of oen big one like in DES. And for the person who died in Blightown there is a fog wall that leads to the dragon covenant somewhere in the northwest not entirely sure.

Im level 45, Ive made it to Ivo's Fortress or whatever its called, and I cant kill a darn thing. I think Im gonna start over, but I'll never quit this game.

It's great, though, that no matter how hard the content itself is, the most dangerous element are the Darkwraiths. I'm going to make my Pyromancer a Darkwraith and my Warrior a Darkmoon Blade.
