I know how trivial it sounds, but that was the roadblock for me getting this game for a while. I hate the art direction in these trailers. But the gameplay and depth just looks too good to pass up.

But yeah, the yellow "post processing" filter can be turned off on the PC version. Probably not on the consoles though.

The more I see of this game, the better I feel about putting my trust in the game with that pre-order. Damn it I'm getting my hopes up but I don't care I am so looking forward to this game.

Perhaps the skull gun hasn't been invented yet at this point of time in the DX world. In fact, I don't think Gunther ever got his skullgun - maybe the whole idea was just wishful thinking on his part.

Here's hoping that "your actions affect the environment and story" actually means that every action has an effect and not just a few token missions that mean a character disappears or a building is damaged

gunther probably thought of a minigun attached to his forehead, i thought more of tiny 1-shot device that serves as a emergency solution for hostage negotiations because who checks someones skull for a gun, even if it contains the cool glasses.
and you are right, he never got the gun even in this one mod where he dropped the container for it the note that came with it said they were sorry they shipped a nano-canister to an outdated model. BUT he maintenance man did switch the buttons on the soda machine.
