Just thinking about it makes me want to play the first one again. But I swore it off last time, I said that was my final time playing Deus Ex 1. I've played it too many times! Heck, it was only a few months ago...

So, if they can pull off what they are promising in this trailer, this game will be good. If they can pull it off. That's a big IF. Still, I have it pre-ordered, so...

SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!

On the other hand, there's also Skyrim, and op top of everything else I want there's no way I'll be able to afford or have time to play both, certainly not for a long time.

This or Skyrim? This or Skyrim? This or Skyrim? FUCK! I can't choose. :(
BOTH. Like me~! I pre-ordered and paid off both of them!

All the coverage this game is getting is giving me a major cyberpunk itch. I know I should remain skeptical, the last time I ignored my better judgment I bought a steaming pile of poo, but it's Deus ex....

This is the same trailer as the one posted earlier today, just a few seconds shorter...but I can't figure out what was cut.

Looks good but WHY IS EVERYTHING SO YELLOW?!
I know how trivial it sounds, but that was the roadblock for me getting this game for a while. I hate the art direction in these trailers. But the gameplay and depth just looks too good to pass up.
I vanted Ohhrange it game me lemon-lime!

If that's your gripe, then wow. The art direction itself is fantastic, not your usual brown desert or ruined city so I'll get this day one.

Everything I've seen about this game is incredible. Can't wait till the end of this month.

Hm... can i really start hoping that this game might actually be GOOD?

I mean... REALLY... a good game?

These trailers and previews of this game stirr my cold and cynical soul.
Play the pre-build. I don't blame you for being cynical after Invisible War, but Human Revolution will be a truly worthy sequel to Deus Ex (or prequel, w/e)

Well, yeah. Before I saw more actual gameplay (until recently, all I had seen was the first level demonstration where they take Adam through in three different ways), it was a big deal. I understand the "well at least it's not grey and brown" argument, as that look is tired and boring. But I really just hate this art direction that much. It's profoundly terrible and it puzzles me how it was ever OK'ed.

However, as I said before, I have the game on preorder. The gameplay and depth just look fantastic. Too fantastic too pass up, no matter how ugly I think the game is.

I love the game so far from what I've heard of it, but this trailer was abhorrent. Specifically I mean the narration. It sounded like a radio speaker or a trailer for a 40's movie. All they needed was to hire Sam Lee to read the lines. It isn't enough to show us what the game can do, no we're too stupid to comprehend they have to tell our feeble brains what is happening on screen.

Can't wait for this to come out.

I just hope the game is long enough. This game needs to have a 20-hour campaign, minimum. Otherwise all these pretty gadgets and plot devices are going to be wasted.

But I am getting a little hyped up about this...

I like the idea of using stealth to get past enemies, I just hope that when I take advice from Altair and only kill the guards that I can dispatch like a badass, I can rest easy knowing that the next guy wasn't looking my way. Stealth is never fun if your enemies share an invisible bond.

I wholeheartedly await the second Deus Ex game. This looks fantastic.
This is actually the third Deus Ex game, but we like to pretend the second game doesn't exist.

Was there in May and can't wait to come back. :) I'm also quite interested in seeing what the Montreal of the near future looks like. You'd figure it should at least be the most accurate as base level of the cities in the game.

I am excited by the game too but did anyone else notice that all the selling points were featured in the first Deus ex too ? Doesn`t it bring anything new to the table ?
