All these trailers still aren't doing enough to convince me the gameplay and the mechanics will work well. Still having a hard time seeing film noir something like a game. People could try to make "Maltese Falcon" game, but I doubt it would really capture the elements of noir that really make me want to watch them.

Well atleast the voice acting seem's to be really good. I'm still not sold on the gameplay exactly so I might have to just wait and see if the game is any good or not when it comes out.

I feel that the voices sound different from the faces. It's a bit odd, but the voice work, and the face modeling, seem to be better than in most games.

It seems like the graphics have gotten better, Yeah, the faces look quite awkward, but it's nothing to complain about. I'm sure they'll polish out. At least it's not the same faces copy-pasted a million times.

There's still a heavy dose of uncanny valley, yeah. But I see what's been done here. It's not photorealistic (yet) but watch how many tics and mannerisms are in those faces. Much more realistic.

Rockstar went all out on this game's facial animations as a whole. They had some videos out, and it was amazingly impressive.


I never liked the GTA series, but with RDR, and this, I may be a convert.
