well this...... does not look that good actually....
having played RDR just to find it too repetitive and boring, I dont think zombies are whats missing (also, why the hell zombies?! why not werewolfs? that could be intresting indeed)
The only thing that would ever make me touch that game again is a Bravestarr DLC.
It's kind of funny and worth noting that the video you linked for us made me think of cyberpunk RDR.

SETH IS BACK!
I reckon it would be downright rude if Seth didn't get to see his "friends" after they woke up. I actually hope Seth and the zombies can have lunch.

OT: I think this actually going to happen in a actual nightmare because it would just ruin the story if all this happened for real.

Should of been call "Red Undead Redemption".
Of course your not redeeming the undead and the color read has no real involvement so maybe it should be called "happy western zombie fun time" because it's happy, fun, with western zombies, and exists in the present time. I'm so witty.

BTW to whoever said they should have did werewolves, god I hope they keep trying stuff like this because that could be next for RDR or the next gta. Just imagine, a well designed open world game (well designed meaning enemies actually react to gunshots instead of acting like robot zombies when they are supposed to be human) that tries creative stuff for non cannon storylines like zombies, werewolves, vampires, and all kinds of mythological creatures. Maybe we will be challenged to survive a giant godzilla sized monster (survive, not kill. Shooting a big target with rockets doesn't sound as fun as trying to survive a monster that can toss chunks of buildings like they were legos) in a gta city, in our time. We can only hope.

God damn this trailer has me psyched. Just when I thought they gave up on creative fun.
Speaking of creative fun, imagine hogtying living people and feeding them to the zombies. I tried that with animals but there never seems to be cougar or bear around when you need one.

So this actually must take place very close to the end of the game for John to be with his family at some point.

Anyways looks fun.
I think it takes place in an actual nightmare. I can't imagine after stopping a zombie invasion that everything just goes back to normal.

SNAP!

There's been a pretty fair bit of complaining about how this DLC "ruins RDR's authentic western feel (or something along those lines)," and all I have to say to that is: If it's such a big deal to you, just don't buy the DLC. It's not like it's very existence somehow spoils the game.

so im wondering if you have already beat the game will you have to fight john as a zombie. Because that would be pretty dam cool if you could.
Most people on forums assume this DLC is set after the end of Red Dead Redemption...

R* themselves have said they like to think this DLC is set during the main canon part of the game:

"The Undead Nightmare story takes place during the ?home? period of the main game, while John is trying to rebuild his ranch but before the end of the game, a period that we imagined took several months."

So it is entirely canon and fitting for John to be busting up some zombies - if not very realistic. Still very, very awesome though. :p

Yeah alright, I'll give it a look. My initial reaction when I heard about this was "Why does everything these days have a f*cking zombie mod? F*ck off with the zombies already!" however this trailer has won me over to RDR's zombies. That. Looked. Awesome.

I would say this is a gimmick, but John Marston is just such a badass protagonist that I'll be happy enough to play as him while fighting off zombies.

I'll be honest, when I saw that there was yet another 'undead' related anything, I didn't really care... but after watching the trailer for this DLC, I'm officially interested.

Now, all I've got left to do is actually finish RDR. >.>

The first thing I said when I thought of this was, "wait, zombies and cowboys?"

And then I realized how awesome that combination is.

I'm so getting this DLC.

Woo! This is the second trailer for this and it just keeps looking better and better. So I'm wondering if this is like GTA4's DLC? Where you pick it separately from the main game?

This might actually be the first DLC i will ever buy..

In all cases im against DLC's, cause i think the stuff should be in the game from start of. seeing as new games aint exactly free.. But this just might convert me to think otherwise..
