Of course they are trying to make money, but so what?Loop Stricken said:No. You're honestly trying to tell me that they're NOT making this game for money? I don't care about their poor decisions, they're not making this game to give it away.
Rarely have I ever encountered a game that people claimed was a "soulless" cash grab and not liked it and ended up saying so.
Most recent of which was Dragon Age 2, which is one of the best and favorite games I have played this year.
I have never got the whole "Boo-hoo-hoo-hoo, a company is being all stupid trying to make money." Of course companies are trying to make money, it is what they do. If you disagree with their practices, don't buy the game, they aren't making you.
They would have to totally change SC5 to make me hate it.
Example: Instead of fighting with swords, every character fights with hands made of different kinds of cheeses, and everybody wears tricorne hats with different cats sitting on top of them.
Yes while as hilarious as that sounds, I would still be somewhat pissed.
I have played all of the Soul Calibur games, and I like them all. It thought SC4 was awesome, especially the character creation system. My friend was best at making characters, I especially liked his Sean Connery and Patrick Stewart(as Picard) characters.
I also loved making my blue wizard that used Mitsurugi's fighting style, with a the wizard hat on top of a blue afro, and also wearing a monocle(because we all know that all wizards where monocles).
It was hilarious when he got his hat knocked off, because it would be like "phoomp!" and the afro would come out. And I would say, "Oh you done it now, you made the Fro angry!!"
