Yeah, with his lightsaber. Which, oddly enough, he seems to use far less than he should, being a Jedi and not wanting to get cut in half lengthwise by a Sith blade.

As usual, the Jedi are the coolest thing in any thing Star Wars, while the rest look bland compared to other sci-fi.
This is neat. Especially compared to (yawn) the Bounty-Hunter vids.

Not to mention being called names like "Captain Life-Support" and "Wheezy" by your own troops behind your back. Well I guess it's not much worse than "Annie."

honestly, i'm unimpressed with this game as a whole it has done so little to distinguish itself from other mmo's at this point rift looks better to me and I've seen the server demo-play
( they turned the servers on for about 1000 people and said 'play normally please' to see what people would get upto
Warning, this REALLY is a spoiler. if you don't want to see my opinions of the last beta build do not click here.
teleporting from planet to planet feels very wrong. you have a ship but it has a canned take-off animation and just feels like a loading screen there needs to be an option to have flight time to walk around and craft things, talk to your crew or invite somone over for a party or just sleep through the entire flight imo.
i want to play holographic robot chess in my cruiser while i fly to Coruscant.
they give you the game board and everything.
and it's NOT cool to make people wait 4+ hours to get Datacrons from stupid locations
if that was a test of how patient people would be for them, then good. because people will nerd-rage the hell out.
shards are awesome, far better than wow's phased/instance areas they're like aion's fully realized and they fit with the architecture of the place
companions are weird, it's like playing a slightly lower level char than yourself as a multi-box
( i mean, you DID pick the same class as a companion.. right? anything else would be silly because they can use your old gear when you replace it else you might have to choose options specifically for them when you complete quests )
also, some of them do sickening damage
mobs are very dumb, i assume some kind of ai patch will happen soon as groups of 3+ can be conquered reasonably easily with the assistance of your companion, the ai's have seemingly 0 group logic
It feels like they did ... then got a cheap offer on SW MMO licence from Lucas and tacked on some multiplayer.
Sadly.
They would have gotten tons more respect from me, BioWare, if they did KOTOR 3 and made their own IP MMO based on Mass Effect. This just feels half done now.
I hope they don't crash and burn with this, they spent lots of money and EA had no qualms killing off Mythic Entertainment last time their project crashed badly.
In addition to the above complaints..... Dear God, they've given him WoW shoulders!
Seriously... what's up with those shoulder pads?? Anyone else think the consular look is seriously inspired by WoW : http://www.wowwiki.com/Mana-Etched_Regalia (without the head piece)?
So yeah... not liking the development of this so far. I'll keep holding out for Dark Millenium and Planetside 2.
Hate to disappoint you, but it's split into two advanced classes. The Shadow can Tank&DPS while the Sage can Heal&DPS. And switching between them is (at least for now) not that easy.
OT: One of the best trailers, liked some of the camera panning and such - good to see some progress in that, really don't get why games are behind film in such aspects considering how much easier doing that stuff with an engine, as opposed to a real, mechanical camera should be.
