Depth charge?

Man, I was there when it premiered. I watched the spider chick and the hawk chick AND the white tiger guy all come onto the show.

Must most of all, I remember the beginning when Dinobot was bad.
I also remember Rat-Trap.
He was my favourite.
Spider chick - Blackarachnia
Hawk chick - Airaizor
Tiger guy - Tigatron

Not to correct you mate, I just actually remembered all those names, although I forgot it was Tiga and not Tiger. Anyhow I loved this series growing up and watched it daily all the way until Beast Machines ruined it; epic until then.

I didn't like it.

I didn't want to see fighting robot animals. I wanted to see fighting robot cars.

OOh, another reason the show was so damn good...

The Predacons actually showed signs of insanity. Megatron talks to himself, yes... Terrorsaur (or is it Pterrasaur?) was a Machiavellian schemer. Waspinator was mentally retarded, Scorpinoc had anger management issues, Inferno spoke in the third person (and had gender confusion issues), and lets not forget Tarantulus, who was paranoid schizophrenic.
Lets not forget Rampage (Protoform X)-The experiment gone bad-He was obviously insane-He let DepthCharge kill him after an epic underwater struggle between the two...
And I loved how Terrorsaur was basically a new Starscream...Anyone remember the episode where they had Starscream's spark take over Waspinator?

I was so tiny when this cartoon was still airing, that episode made me cry a little, I really liked DepthCharge...</3

I miss this series, it's on my list of shows to rattle off everytime I remenisce about 90s cartoons. Was the Beast Machines spinoff when they reached that other planet and there was the plant-lady there...? (I can't remember anything =/ )

The absolute best one was RatTrap!!!

He pretty much rocked, and not gonna lie, Megatron as a T-Rex was pretty awesome. Better than the spider guy

I remember that series. It was an awesome concept, although it got less reputation than the original transformers.

I remeber that from when I was a kid. I still have One of the Octimus Prime transformable toys somewhere. Why he turned into a gorrila I'll never know.

I think my most memorable time watching that show was TigerTron and AirRazor's deaths.

I was a little kid then, who was still afraid of "cooties" and shit, and I STILL felt like

"That sucks......8<"

Cheetor was my favorite character, followed by Dino Bot.

Oh, and Cheetor's "Savage" form was amazing.

I liked it and watched it all the way through to the end of beast machines (which was really not that good). Seems like ages ago, but my favourite character was the Rhino. I don't remember his name, but I do remember an episode where he rampaged through the decepticons base after being possessed or something.

Rhino=Rhinox
I remember him well because he was basically the scientist of the group and he had the two machine guns he could pull out...Those were wicked...

I loved this show. I was a major fan of Inferno! I had almost every toy too, but I never managed to get ahold of the Inferno one. My buddy had it, and I offered to trade any of mine for it but he wouldn't do it.

Biggest disappointment from my childhood.

As for beast machines, I bought the vehicons, but not the maximals. I used them as villians for all the animals. Good times.

Supes- that would be Rhinox :)

The best release of Beast Wars is the Australian set from Madman Entertainment- it's region 4 I think so you'll need a multi-region player (or region fiddle-code) to watch them.

Beast Wars is widely recognised (well, I say widely) as the best of the TF series for writing, voice acting and animation, although I reckon Japan-and-Korea-only series Masterforce could have given it a run for its money if the English dub hadn't been by Star TV aka 'three guys in a cupboard, all drunk'. Beast Machines isn't anywhere near as bad as its online reputation suggests, but it suffers greatly from being the sequel to Beast Wars and not quite meeting the same high standard. It's still worth getting into if you've finished Wars and crave more adventures with the same cast (sort of).

Pretty much everything Mainframe did was amazing. Reboot (the world set inside a computer) was fantastic and ran for five years, and I've never seen War Planets but I've yet to hear a bad word about it.

I watched when I was knee high to a grasshopper, good times. But robots that transform into animals? WTF?
