Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen Review

I have to say, I haven't seen this movie yet, nor do I think I ever will, but judging by IMDB's Parent's Guide, it seems very suggestive for what was once a children's cartoon show.

The entire movie was held up by the action, while everything else was lacking. That's like holding up a car with a 2x4; it doesn't work well. I prefer movies with equal parts action and intrigue, such as the Bourne Trilogy.

This review really didn't tell me much about the film or anything about it. You told us a hint of the plot and how one actor was better then another but gave no reason behind it. I'm still curious as to why you even thought it was a good movie? I assume it was just the story as you mentioned nothing else. Was it the CGI? If so, how did it effect the story?
Did the writing, cinematography, editing and whatnot make the action stronger or made the movie worse?

Next time you write a movie review you must talk more about it then just what you would find on the back of the cover.

I just watched this yesterday. Nice movie. Although I wanted to take a piss halfway through it, but couldn't leave, since there was giant robots fighting on the screen!

Don't you hate that, I know I do. It's like every time I need to go there are robots fighting on a screen. Seriously though, I know I want to watch that movie now.

Really, what do people see in these movies? All they have going for them is the action. Everything else is atrocious.

don't worry bro, i totally agree with you. I only saw the first one and I found it to be an utter disgrace to film making. Michael Bay is a douchebag director who makes mindless, souless, over-the-top action movies that he uses as his own personal jack off material, because he is finds himself to be more awesome than anyone else on the planet. the man is the personification of a permanent mid-life crisis gone horribly wrong and he and his shitty excuses of movies need to be locked in a rocket and sent off to pluto where he can live the rest of his days with his European counterpart, Uwe Boll.

Perhaps if Bay made the last battle absolutly amazing.

Yes, it was "amazing". Over 40 minutes of battle, which is waaaaaay too long and needs better pacing (It's like Eternal Sonata for robots), no consistent battles, always cutting to others, and the final battle between Optimus Prime and the Fallen is 2 minutes long. Great battle /Sarcasm

Michael Bay = FAIL

CGI and special effects is the only thing I watched it for, the story was just as pathetic and morally black and white as the first, and another typical "We are the US military, and we will blow up everything that isn't us." movie. Also, most of the main female characters dress like prostitutes in waiting (Thats right, looking at YOU, Megan Fox)
