You hear the phone ringing, then a deep male voice answers:

"This is a secure private line, you are now being recorded. Please state your business."

"Now you listen here-" The man is cut off by voices in the background, and a woman starts talking instead.
"This is the President's Personal assistant. You have our undivided attention, please continue."
"I want to assure you that I'm not threatening her in any way. I just want to establish a means of communication so that we can keep each other informed. This phone is low on battery, so I'm going to keep it off unless I need to call you, such as when we find her. If you have information for us, then send some kind of signal to let me know to turn the phone on." Leaning against a wall, Tyler sat down, resting his head on his hand.
"We're not looking for money or anything. All we want for getting her out safely is to be rescued with her. We'll keep quiet about this, whatever you want." He sighed, glancing over at Kelsey and Leanne.
"We just want to get out of this alive."

The woman thinks for a moment. "Understood, how many people are with you? And what kind of signal were you thinking of sir?""There's... five of us, including me. And I dunno, maybe have a jet fly over town? It's getting dark in a few hours, I think, so maybe shooting a flare from some artillery would do the trick. But we'll go with whatever you guys normally do, as long as you mention what it is." Glancing at his crowbar, he realized not everyone had a good weapon, and some from the government would be better.
"Is there any way you could get us some guns, too? We're quite underarmed here. Hell, dropping in some Marines would be appreciated, too." He wearily laughed, knowing he was committing to a plan he had originally been against.

"When you have Yvonne safe, we will send a helicopter to the roof of the hospital, since that is the nearest helipad to the University.""I would but Yvonne's phone was dead, so we had to use another phone's battery to get this hour of battery life, and these are the only two we have, so I suppose a flare will have to do." Lowering his voice, Tyler covered his mouth and the phone's mic before speaking again.
"Do any of you know anything about a girl named Leanne, or a man named Herman Banks?"

You hear the church bells ring 3 times, but the third ring sounds odd, then the bell crashes down inside the church.

You hear the church bell fall, making a huge crashing noise. You also hear a weird scratching noise in the distance from where the bell was.

Leanne jumps up from her pew, panicking.

"Oh god! those things will have heard that. We have to get out of here now!" She goes towards the front door, trying to shift the pews out of the way, but they're too heavy for her.

Said Leanne, grabbing her bag and hopping from one foot to the other as she watched the others move the pews."They won't send it until I call them and say we have Yvonne," Tyler commented, throwing aside the last pew. "Now," he began, pointing at Kelsey, "you saw library books, and I saw the library in her phone, so I say we go there. I don't care what's there, but that's where I'm going, because it's the only lead I have." Pulling out the crowbar, he ran off.
"Hey, wait for us!" Kelsey shouted, chasing him.

You run back into the street, its pretty much deserted now, with the odd zombie groaning in the distance. You head towards the Library.
Outside the Library, you see 3 more zombies. The library door is ajar, and some of the windows have been smashed.Dean, Eric, and Tyler all glanced between each other, nodded, and ran forward, weapons out. Tackling his target, Dean shoved the trench knife deep into the zombie's skull and remained on to keep it from moving until it died. Tyler knocked his zombie down with a swift hit to the skull. Feeling the third grab him, Tyler quickly turned and barely managed to get the zombie to bite the crowbar instead of him. The zombie's rotting head crumpled between the crowbar and Eric's frying pan, and the body fell to the ground. Seeing that Tyler's target was still alive, Eric walked over and delivered the killing blow.
"Holy crap guys, that was awesome!" Kelsey cried out, running up to join them.

Kevin bolted down the street, the sounds from his feet hitting the ground echoed throughout the abandoned town.
After passing several other streets, he arrived at the front door of the drugstore.
After a quick check around the store, he found that he had three ways of getting in.
He could break open the front door, break the back door, or sneak in through an open air vent.
After spending several minutes checking the air vent, he decided to break in from the back door.
He took a decently sized rock and began to bash it against the door handle, caveman-style.
Eventually, he heard something break, then he pushed the door open.
Luckily, he found a backpack to hold some supplies, then he stocked up on food, water, and other various items.
After donning his backpack, he ran out the back door, and walked down the street, not really knowing where to go.
Perhaps he would try to find other people who weren't infected.
