Before getting to far on foot, an ambling zombie walked in Dean's path. Its blood splattered clothes and face gave the ripped and torn skin a demonic appearance. This was truly a creature to fear, but Dean didn't have time to fear. Every second took him farther and farther away from his sister, for all he knew she could be gone already. Running at a dead sprint Dean charged the Zombie, who had a facial expression like a rather confused stoner. Planting his left foot and shifting his weight, using all his weight and momentum Dean threw a super man punch that landed cleanly on the zombies nose, toppling the undead beast and and sending a spray of coagulated blood all over her blond hair and fashionable dress.
never thought i'd have to Falcon punch a woman. . . Dean thought as he continued on his dead sprint towards town center. He didn't even bother to check if the zombie was dead. . . again. He just let his boots fall one infront of the other, over and over in the fastest sprint he could manage. He felt his pack weighing him down, but he knew it held survival gear that he might need. Just then a zombie looked up from its recent kill and snarled at the ever advancing young Cadet. Dean continued to sprint towards the zombie, and swung his right foot towards its disfigured head. Dean never was a good kicker, not in sports, he had strong round houses in Muay Thai, but this wasn't a Muay Thai kick. This was a punt. His steel toe boot connected firmly with the zombies temple and made a sicking THWACK as the bone cracked and the zombies head snapped sharply to the side. After a quick tumble and fall, Dean shoulder rolled and started back to his feet determined to get to his sister in time. Only problem was, Dean didn't have the best cardio, and Adrenaline wasn't enough to keep pushing him past the pain in his burning lungs. His pace slowly turned to a trot (basically double time jog) and his breathing grew heavier.
He looked over instinctively when he heard some one cry help. His first thought was to just abandon the man, but he couldn't do that. Not if keeping this man alive allowed Dean to survive just a little bit more. He looked to the door where about 10 zombies where flooding in, and waited for them to be mostly inside before he pulled out his Tomahawk and Trench knife and killed the first two zombies outside the door before the other 8 new what was going on.
