Trapped! A Survival Horror RP - Chapter 6: Have We Escaped Yet?

"Bothers you, doesn't it? It bothers me, too," Tyler stated as he headed for the closest alley between him and the church, "and that's the problem. Nothing bothers me anymore..."

"Meh, okay, we'll go that way," Kelsey resigned. "I don't like it, but I trust you. You coming, Eric? And don't worry, I'm not comfortable with this at all, either."

 

[MasterSqueak]

Eric sighed.

"I guess..."

 

[Jedoro]

Tyler had picked up his pace, knocking the odd zombie out of his way with his crowbar, so Kelsey rushed to catch up, turning to yell at Eric.

"Come on, I don't wanna get left back here! Maybe we'll at least have some fun before we die- ow!" she explained, stopping as she ran into Tyler. Unable to see around him, he had paused at the alley entrance.

 You look down the alley, and see a university jumper on the floor. You also notice the Church ahead of you has a broken padlock hanging off the door.

 

[Jedoro]

Jumping on his back to see over him, Kelsey noticed the jumper on the ground and immediately said what Tyler was likely thinking.

"No. Fucking. Way that is a coincidence." Not even acknowledging the extra weight, Tyler began walking towards the church, stopping to pick up the jumper. "Whee, piggy back ride!"

Eric sighed and followed his companions.

*Mini Update*

MasterSqueak / Jedoro :

You go into the Church and shut the doors behind you. Inside you see 2 female students. One is sitting on a pew, crying into her hands, she has a towel wrapped around her arm, which is covered in blood.
The other girl is leaning over her, trying to comfort her. 

[code]Both their bags have the University logo on. There is a third bag on the floor, which has the University logo and the Presidents Seal on it.

[code]The second girl spots you.
"Please! You have to help her. She was bitten by one of those things!"

Current Time: 2:05pm

Eric stopped cold.

"Get away from her."

 

[Jedoro]

Kelsey jumped off of Tyler's back and ran over to the two of them as Tyler began moving pews to block the entrance.

"What happened? How bad is the bite?" Kelsey asked, wondering if the bite was how these zombies spread.

The girl looks at Eric, confused.

[code]"We don't have very long, if she doesn't get help now she could be infected too!" She said, almost in tears. "It wasn't a big bite, It happened about 20 minutes ago."

"Do you guys have any medical supplies? We've got to try anything we can," Kelsey pleaded, not wanting to see someone become one of the living dead.

After moving a few pews to barricade the door, Tyler walked over to the group. Staring at Eric, he sighed and gripped his crowbar.

"No, we ran here from the University. Our friend went for help but she hasn't come back yet." The girl said.

 

[MasterSqueak]

"She's been bitten. We don't have a cure. Get back or she might turn and infect you too!"

 The first girl cried harder, and started rocking back and forth.
The second girl took a few steps away from her. "But I don't wanna leave her here. She's my friend."

 

[Jedoro]

"Not much of a choice anymore," Tyler morbidly commented. "Lay down, and close your eyes. I promise this won't hurt." Kelsey moved the girl away and shielded their eyes.

 

[MasterSqueak]

"If she's your friend, let us do it. Don't let her suffer any longer."

Eric lowered his head.

The crying girl looked up and Tyler, and nodded sadly. She lay down on the pew, still sobbing gently.

[code]The second girl looked shocked, but turned around and covered her ears, starting to cry herself.

Grasping the crowbar with both hands, Tyler raised the straight end to a few inches above her left eye. Putting his right palm on the curved part, he drove the crowbar into her skull through the opening, killing her instantly. Pulling out the crowbar, he took off his button-up shirt and used it to cover the girl's head.

Kelsey took the silence as a chance to open her eyes, so she tried to get the attention of the other girl.

"Do you know where your friend went? We need to help her, too," she asked.

"No, but she's the President's daughter, that's her bag, see?". The girl said, tears running silently down her face while she pointed at the third bag.
"I'm her friend, and... and she said she was going to get help. But I don't know which way she went."

 

[Jedoro]

"We're gonna get you out of here, okay?" Kelsey reassured her. "Both of you. See these two guys? They're gonna take care of us." She then hugged the tearful girl.

"I promise."
