I'm not really a huge John Travolta fan, although I did love Pulp Fiction. So I have no idea what his other "best" would be.

His only good movie was pulp fiction. Except for maybe Battlefield Earth, which was a masterpiece.
Battlefield earth is the best film of all time!

Okay, everyone posting in this thread [small](except SonicWaffle)[/small] fails, because you didn't mention Broken Arrow [http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0115759/], the good* John Woo film featuring Travolta. Face/Off was okay, sure, but it was almost too indulgent, and the pacing and plot were really kind of silly - if it wasn't for the insane action sequences it would be a pretty crappy movie that had some comical over-acting by Cage and not much else to commend it. Broken Arrow was cleaner, tighter, and just all around bloody excellent entertainment, and Travolta is the bloody bad guy.

And he is frankly a much more convincing villain than a protagonist. Seriously, how am I the only one [small](besides SonicWaffle)[/small] mentioning this? Pulp Fiction was awesome, but Travolta wasn't really all that impressive in it - he is absolutely wonderful in Broken Arrow.

And it's a kickass John Woo movie - go watch it and tell me I'm wrong, I dare you.

[small]*Ignore IMDB's lower rating for it compared to Face/Off - the folks rating it don't know what the hell they're on about.[/small]

That's a joke right?

OT, Pulp Fiction was really the only movie I liked him in. Though, recently, I liked that remake of Taking Pelham 123

He wasn't slamming Grease. That other guy failed because Grease came before Pulp Fiction.

he's a good actor, shame that he had to be a scientologist
Awwww dammit thats just ruined John Travolta for me.

However, i did rather enjoy his performance in Swordfish. Don't think i've seen anything else with him in other than PF.

Agreed, Travolta makes a much better bad guy.
