Hmmmm. This premise intrigues me. While I haven't really been in a writing mood the past couple of days, I may have to keep this one on the radar. I'll check back in possibly if I feel I can properly contribute.

Awesomesauce. Is there an age limit on characters? I was thinking of doing some sort of 'troubled writer' in his late twenties/early thirties.
Not especially, though I would stick to around 30ish. Just for the sake of context.
Okie dokie. I'll endeavour to get a sheet in.

By the way, I originally came into this thread expecting to see some sort of comedy-horror RP involving Kevin Bacon. I was a little disappointed, although I like this idea too. = P
Kevin Bacon will undoubtedly end up in this RP somewhere.

Oh good. I'm no good at that Six-Degrees thing. :p

Also, a friendly bump to make sure more people see it. I wanna play this thing. :)

Name: Alexander Monash

Age: 23

Gender: Male

Nationality: British/Australian

Appearance: Tall, with black hair tied in a pony tail. He has neat, square glasses that frame brown, almond eyes. His goatee is a peculiar shade of oak brown, and is trimmed quite close to his face. A generally lanky person, he has a thin face, long arms, and large hands. His skin is pallid white, and burns easily in the sun. He is usually seen in a grey t-shirt, jeans, boots and his satchel.

Bio: Born and bred in London, England, Alexander was raised by a peculiar family. His mother and father were both historians, and thus came into ownership of art, relics, books and scrolls. His mother used to shower stories of ancient war heroes onto Alexander when he was a child, and he finished high school topping both Ancient and Modern history.

He moved to Brisbane at 18 to start university, much to his parents displeasure. He simply wanted a change in lifestyle, without compromising his personal safety. He was enrolled in Anthropology, but had to take the first few weeks off due to illness. After repeat occurrences, he simply decided to complete his course via correspondence to home. He shared a house with a few people, mainly keeping to his room on the second floor.

His dealings with Pantha started with a simple complaint to one of his roommates, who then suggested him to a shady neighbour down the road. When simple drugs became ineffective, he was then referred to her.

Symptoms of illness: Hallucinations and paranoia are necessary. Alexander suffers from severe fatigue and Fibromyalgia without the pills. Though he is not totally out of action, he required heavy amounts of sleep and painkillers to function at a sub-par level.

Personality: Alex is a laid-back lateral thinker. His disinterest in all things mathematic has driven his inquiring nature to examining people in general, and he can often be caught out staring at someone. Although he is slow to anger, without his pills he can become a nightmare to deal with.

Studied?: Anthropology. Uhh, I'm okay without a modifier :D

Accommodation, if any: Small bedroom in a shared house.

Inventory: In his satchel is his wallet, mobile, textbook, keys, lighters and cigarettes.

Let me know if anything needs changing!

Name: Jon Kurtz

Age: 19

Gender: Male

Nationality: English

Appearance: Jon is tall and slim, with a smooth, lean way of moving that has only a tiny hint of youthful gangling awkwardness. His hair is red-brown, and he has allowed it to grow out since he left school; it now hangs to about the base of his neck. His face is passably handsome, high cheekbones and blue eyes set off by the last of his teenage spots.

Bio: Jon was brilliant, once. His only problem in high school was being bored; he would excel in what he wanted to, and left everything else in the dust, despite persuasion or threat. Diagnosed with moderate autism, he personally suspects that he's just clever enough to deal with real life; instead, he's perversely proud of being different.
His results would have one him a place in any UK school, but by then the first of his symptoms were beginning, and he could afford the mounting prices of English Further Education. Instead, he headed out for Australia, intending to meet his far lung cousins, and find a university that would teach him everything he wanted to know.

He never finished his first year; the illness shut him down. He was no citizen, and his meager student income couldn't cover his medical bills; he rapidly had to find new ways of dealing with it. Eventually he found Pantha, and now he has to find a cure to his new situation...

Symptoms: Jon becomes more and more introverted, and outward stimuli become distorted by him imagination. He begins to feel a contempt for 'baseline' humanity, and imagines that the hatred is mutual, and the basis of a continual barrage of spite and malevolence. His moods swing from manic and aggressive to morose and totally apathetic.
At his worst stages, Jon looses sight of what is and isn't real, and begins to decohere completely. His spatial and temporal awareness disappears, and he will rave about insane visions that he believes are insights beyond normal understanding. When lucid, these are the symptoms he hates most, for he believes that he is responsible for his own sanity.

Personality: William displays the traits of a mild autist; he is logical, direct, and possessed of a rather literal sense of humor. Furthermore, his patience is short, and he can irritated by people who do not follow his rapid jumps of thought; this is exaggerated by his symptoms.
He is a strong believer in the strength of his mind; and he finds the loss of mental control extremely distressing, even in others.

Studied: Pure Mathematics

Accommodation: Jon has a flat which he has managed to retain possession of, though he has sold many of the contents for drug-money.

Inventory: The keys to his flat, a small, practical pen-knife, a lighter and a small supply of marijuana that he uses to fend of the symptoms if he cannot get hold of Pantha's pills. A cheap phone, barely worth selling, and an empty wallet.
