I guess Ill have to disagree because I play the game a lot and the majority of fights I get into are at high speeds. This still doesnt change what you said, you were talking in absolutes saying the use of these weapons requires no skill, I pointed out valid instances where timing and compensation were as skill based as games get. Instead of replying with a valid argument you've used whats known as a goalkeeper fallacyHammeroj said:That would all be fine and dandy, except the vast, vast majority of the combat happens at mid/low level speeds, where you barely have to aim the bloody things.Windcaler said:Wait a minute, when you have the average enemy traveling at 100-150 mph while you're moving at a variable speed. Hitting someone requires timing and prediction to compensate for not only their speed but your own. Then for some weapons (like the thumper) you have to compensate for bullet drop. All those factors have to be compensated for in a split second so would you care to explain how they require no skill?Hammeroj said:The game's decent, but I'm really disliking the overt reliance on explosive weapons. It's a monotonous borefest when every single character can (and usually does) get a thumper/spinfusor that require zero skill. Especially indoors. Every engineer who bought a thumper should be ashamed of themselves.
