OOC: I've got an idea for another way Revered and Natural Born Leader could work. With NBL and Revered, people basically find it easier to like you, right? Well, how about we include a boost to things that give Charisma bonuses, like Eagle's Splendor and such?

that works perfectly since they already like you more making them like you even more would be boosted

"I know the phrase 'yours is not to ask why' and all," Denra says, "but I have to wonder what's so bad about another God arriving. Those three didn't even mention what he'd be the God of.

"That son of a ***** killed us. I say we kill him in return." Iggy said mad as hell for being killed a moment ago.

"I swear I saw someone draw his sword and lunge at you but your all fine, and well wheres my manners my name is Ossa Gann I own the shop a few blocks down I buy and trade in most anything, but that's not important right now who are you and what happened?"

"Well," Alexandria said. "To put it mildly we're on a quest from the Gods. But pray tell, good man, where lies this shop of yours?"

"Hmm yes come one come on, follow me I'll take you to it who knows what you'll need to finish this quest of yours." Ossa said starting to walk down the street. "Mayhap you'll tell me more about this quest of yours."

Denra speaks up. "Kresh, Amerta and Undarth asked us to fight against a forth God. They gave us his name, Halgeth, and claimed that he seeks to destroy this land, but I'm unsure. THey didn't even say what he would be the God of. For all we know, we could be fighting the God of Good Fortune!"

And I refuse to believe that this guy knows what Helgath is the God of.

How's the User Group Coming?

fanklok said:
Skills and Attributes are what make up the basis of your character. When you submit your sheet have no more then 6 Skills/Attributes you may get more as things progress, and as you learn more about your companions they could possibly teach you some new ones.
When i put up accepted character sheets skills and attributes modified by your class will be in bold and the ones modified by your race will be italicized.
How exactly are they modified?

combat ones give a bonus to damage (midnight_toker gets a 1D8 damage bonus from his intensive physical training instead of the 1D4), magic ones make your magic stronger, and non combat ones vary, revered people will like you more so merchants will most likely drop their prices a bit, brawn will let you study how your enemies fight so you can learn their styles and become more effective with weapons (I'll just bold things you can learn), brains instead of having to be taught something depending on the situation an explanation of it will suffice for you to learn or just watching some one do it (again will be bolded). I was planning on using your new merchant friend as a basic run down of this.

as for the user group they're implementing/testing new things to them so they've halted user group creations for now.

anyhoo back to the story

Ossa: "Welcome come on in and have a look around." he opened the door and an extremely wide array of items for sale was there, armors , weapons, an impressive collections of herbs and vials, and much more. "As I said I deal in just about everything there's a training gym in the basement and a few rooms upstairs that I rent. Nothing is free of course you'll have to pay but I'm willing to haggle on prices of anything." (Let's say for simplicities sake that the standard unoriginal currency is gold pieces, and you all start off with 100 of them.) "I'll let you rest in the rooms upstairs for free tonight but if your ever back here again you'll have to pay like any other customer. Good night we can talk again in the morning when my workers are here."

Iggy walked around the shop that night. He commonly had bouts of insomnia, a side effect of the experiments that created him. "Hmm, this is going to be a problem. But then again i have nothing else to do. Might as well go."

Is there any difference between Skills modified by Race and the ones modified by Class?

Also, what if a Skill is modified by both?

Alexandria decided to try and get a good nights rest, and so laid in bed and awaited slumber to come so the night would pass.

there isn't much difference if their modified by one or the other,an elemental is going to get a better magic bonus then a human mage or sorcerer will, and if it's by both then both bonuses are applied (good questions)

right right sorry bout that

still that night

(uhh dream sequence or something)
Amerta: Alexandra, we have heard the doubts of your companions and yourself we did leave you with little information about your opponent. Halgeth is a transcendent, or a half-god, he needs to gather followers in order for his power to reach it's full potential, in his mortal life he was evil and ruthless and that has carried over. He truly does seek to destroy this land, but I am going to tell you something it is the best kept secret of all the ages, even gods can die. Our power grows with the number of those that believe in our existence, and as that number shrinks so does our power and our immortality may end. If Halgeth is weakened enough by this he will descend back to the mortal realm and become mortal again himself."

now that all thats going to get cleared up

The next morning.

Alex jolted awake from her sleep, was her dream true if it was she must tell the others.

Ossa shouting from the hallway "Come on everyone wake up it's been light out for almost an hour get up, nights over and so is your free stay."

Alex, startled by what she'd learned, dressed herself.

After about fifteen minutes of hair-positioning, she left her room and went in search of the others to tell them the news.
