I thought the two nuclear bombs we dropped were Japan's "payback." Yeah, people are dumb. I thought the last WWII vet died, I think we can get over it by now.

To whom it may concern:

On behalf of my fellow Americans, I would like to state that we as a whole do not see this terrible disastor as paybeack by any means. The opinions of the few greatly contradict the whole. However, I can understand while this reflects horribly on Americans. It is indeed one more reason I regret being born into a country of greedy bastard pigs. If given the chance, I would glady become a British, Canadian, or Japanese citizen and resign my status as-

Enough bullshit. This pisses me off beyond belief. GROW THE FUCK UP YOU INBRED REDNECKS! Pearl Harbor was a single attack on American soil, if you consider Hawaii American (Wait, greedy bastards who hate foreigners? Sound American to me!) I LOATHE being American because of things like this. I was almost in tears after what happened to Japan, and to refer to a natural disastor as REVENGE 70 years later?! Should everything be revenge for everything? An eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind! Damn America to hell! If anyone asks from this point if I am Canadian, I am going to answer "Yea, eh". I already talk like a Canadian anyways.

*sigh* I put it down to some bad timing for an elementary school teacher to do that part of history. And some idiots who fail to realise that things on the internet DO affect the real world.

But if it's true, as a British guy living in Tokyo right now, what the hell did England ever do to America?

Oh... um... never mind.
Had I been alive during the Revolution, I would have been a Loyalist. England was not at fault. The Founding Fathers were dicks, and I've seen the Cracked articles to prove it.

wow, pearl harbor revenge? Even if you wanted to subscribe to such ignorant bigoted thinking, they DID get there revenge, they dropped two atomic bombs on the country for gods sake.

And on the note of those atomic bombs, I really hate when people try to justify those attacks, like america was only thinking of japans best interest when they nuked them twice. That's just plain and simple not how wartime strategy is thought of.

If that's how things worked the US would have been reduced to a smoking crater by now.

307,006,550 is an estimate of the number of citizens in the US and not all of them posted comments about how Japan deserved the tsunami for pearl harbor
Not all of the Japan bombed the pearl harbor.
So why did they made that comment at all?
Thats why I said you belong with them l:
My comment was against america, If I belonged to america why would I even make that comment(that I made)

The nukes? The camps? Weren't they enough, but whats worse is that this is a horrible disaster! I remeber being on youtube I go to the next page, and boom disaster strikes Japan. All I could think about was my friend who has family in Japan. It truly is a disgrace.

I'm really ashamed by ignorant those people are. They obviously don't remember the fact that in addition to two nuclear bombs dropped on highly populated Japanese cities, we fire-bombed over 60 other major cities almost every night for weeks. That was more than "payback", even when it happened. And these people are not only stupid, but arrogant enough to think that somehow Japan "angered God" or the planet, and that it was actual revenge? Stupid, stupid, stupid.

(as an American) I do (EDIT: not [thought it was there the first time. Damn]) feel that way.

I summed up my opinions on this thing in Japan, which was when you live on a fault line, I dont feel pity that this happens to you. I'll feel bad about you're suffering and the damages it causes, but I wont feel pity when you say that it happened like its some kinda surprise. you dont live below sea level and ***** about flooding.

Actually, I hope japan bounces back soon. They are a major part of the Economics of Pittsburgh, and we need them up. We'll be in so much business exporting goods out. So (long term economically) this is a great thing to happen (minus the cost of human lives, which I send heart felt condolences out to).

Then why do you say "minus the cost of human lives" if, as American, "I do feel that way"? As an American, as you put it, shouldn't you feel happy that gooks are dead? Your statement is contradicting itself.

I am inclined to make a Katrina joke, however I do think this will be way counterproductive

This is actually repulsive. What I found to be so selfish and unfeeling was that on the day, on twitter, "Hurricane Katrina" was a trending topic.
Because it always has to be about you, doesn't it America.

You might be a redneck if....

...you blame a society we are at peace with for something that happened 70 years ago-which the current leaders have no control over- and think that a natural disaster is "payback".
Even if this was the 1940's, this would still be idiotic. You can't blame the peasants who are enslaved by an evil emperor for what that emperor does.

...I thought we Americans already got Japan back for Pearl Harbor, what with the internment camps, atomic bombs, and military occupation... And even if we didn't, I highly doubt God would play favorites. If he did, this would have happened ages ago.

this is stupid what actually happened was this:
the German Minister of Defense had to step down because the copy and pasted his Dr. title. Now this guy is old rich royalty and most likely the member of secret cabal that rules the world. So to stop the pressure on him he wanted a big natural disaster so people wouldn't care about him being a filthy cheat but the guys who control his cabals secret super weapons punched in the wrong date so this didn't save him and we still had the earthquake.

Oh so you fix that yet the fact that Afghanistan is getting volcanoed is left out. I know that many people here are Americans but look at the lives you've taken ruined ect. comparatively...
EG.
No reason to double post by my volcano comparison. I'm perfectly content about referring to natural disasters like Earthquakes as an Act of God though.
But more importantly, I'm not American and I take the accusation as an insult.
