"Reality TV". That is really the only thing I hate.

I don't much like a lot of American TV crime shows, too. Never really seem to get into most of them. Or sci-fi things... like Stargate and Startrek? Didn't like those really.

And what's with all the "Heroes" hate? I thought it was fantastic! :D That cheerleader... mmm... ;3

Wow. People seem to hate a fair few shows I watch! D:

OT: This probably is going to make me really unpopular but I really dislike Doctor Who. To be fair,I only tried watching it at around 2005 before David Tennant (might be wrong there)and I just felt the show was littered with bad acting and cheesy special effects. THEN, to top it all off, just as I was starting to understand a little about why people like it show much, they cast David Tennant as the new Doctor. That alone stopped me from ever watching it again. I hate the guy! >.<

Big Bang Theory. It's supposed to appeal to me because it's nerd humour, but I never really found it all that entertaining. A bit stupid, really.

Farscape and Firefly.

(Just kidding! :p )

Seriously? [insert country] Idol, [insert country]'s Next Top Model, Home and Away, Neighbors, My Kitchen Rules, pretty much crime show in existence (especially the initialism-names ones, eg CSI, NCIS, etc), and pretty much all cooking shows.

But most of all, Biggest Loser. That show is insulting, and shows just how low television has sunk.

Glee: It's a campy comedy that is fairly funny and when it's done right, has some DAMN good musical performances. Is it possible they're pre-recorded? Yeah, but is it actually those kids and is it likely they're actually singing and the music just got overdubbed? Yeah, but it's not like any other show doing the same thing has an actual live performance. There are parts to the show that are tiresome and god knows that the drama surrounding the closet gay dude on the football team and the openly gay guy who left the Glee Club to go elsewhere is an extremely stupid and pointless storyline, but it's a mostly 'fun' show.
?

I've never seen anyone complaining about the songs being pre-recorded. It would be physically impossible to do a lot of the stuff they do on that show without pre-recording it. The problem is there's some light autotune on pretty much every musical number on Glee. It's not heavy enough to get the T-pain effect, and it's not light enough to be completely transparent, so it leads to an audio-only version of the uncanny valley. There's just something off about the music in that show.

For the not Dutch it's a dating show for farmers who are looking for a wife...
i dont understand why people love that
As a dutch guy myself I can second that I just dont understand the appeal.

Torchwood after watching SGA and Sanctuary I thought I could pick up Torchwood. Let me tell you this NO ONE get near those series they suck balls. I had to turn it off within 20 minutes it was just so horrible. The acting was aweful the script was aweful and the aliens look like mutated monkeys.

And yet a lot of people love Torchwood what baffles me.

Reality tv in its entirety- well actually no Masterchef Pro good be quite good sometimes.
Glee, the OC, One Tree Hill and their ilk.

And I personally loved the Mentalist- half the joy was watching Jane be a total jackass and solve the crime from seemingly irrelevant details. But your right about the other characters- pretty one dimensional, although Cho is hilarious and Van Pelt is gorgeous

If by aweful you mean full of awe.

Nah, I'm just messing with you. I enjoyed Children of Earth, but I never really got into Torchwood proper. Not that I hate it, either; I just never really watched it. I'm mostly posting this because you misspelled awful, somehow making an old joke that is only supposed to work with the spoken language work through text XD

The Simpson. Why?

[Incoming Rage Rant]

First off
Bart is a Arsehole to everyone
Marge doesn't do shit to stop her son from being a Arsehole
Homer is a Drucken goof who doesnt help anyone and a general unlikable bell end
Lisa is the only character i like

At times i wanted sideshow Bob to kill Bart

if i had the choice kill Bart Simpson Marge and Homer without hesitation

For me its pretty much just Lost, any talent show, The Big Bang Theory and Everybody Loves Raymond.

Lost: Found it boring and overly convoluted and I didn't like any of the characters.

Talent Shows: Woopdifreakingdoo you can sing. Waddaya want? A medal?

The Big Bang Theory: I just never found it funny. I found it overall a little boring and the only point to watching it was the blonde chick from Charmed/8 Simple Rules.

Everybody Loves Raymond: *Icy Glare* This is not funny. Ray Romano is not funny. At least thats what I feel. I just really hate this tv show.

Outnumbered. ITS NOT FUNNY PEOPLE!!!
Glee. If I wanted to watch shallow self obsessed people on TV, I'd just take a screen of glass down to school and stalk the chav group, staring at them through it.

- Edit -

It's crude and unfunny... And I hate it.

Satrgate after season 8 - they just beat the race that act like gods for power adn are evil, so for the next two seasons they add a new race, That are evil and act like gods for power >.<

South park after season 6-7 - stopped trying to be funny and just wanted to see how far they could push bad taste.

Simpsons before season ~6 - i have no idea why every one likes the ealier seires, they have few jokes and are just trying to push morals, go away and just give me jokes.

CSI after seires 1 - first season was new and orginal (vagas only), but formula is repeated for the 20 odd seasons.

Half of home improvements - any of the 'Tool Time' parts were brillient, but then they add some stupid family instead of having a full lenght tool time.

There are only two shows on TV worth seeing. Mythbusters and Top gear (English version of cause).

The rest is one big pile of manure.

The thing is, Torchwood was created as a show to cash in and ride on the coattails of Doctor Who.

It was created by Russell T. Davies, former lead writer of the new Doctor Who series, and sworn enemy of Doctor Who fans everywhere.

It is obvious to see that it is a cash in, because it was spun-off of several episodes that Davies wrote for Doctor Who, Tooth and Claw was the episode where the organization was founded.

It had potential, but of course since Davies was at the helm, it was deliberately rammed into an iceberg. Though I bet the only reason Davies created the show was to parade around the bi-sexual antics of Captain Jack. The actual main part of the show, the aliens and whatnot, felt like a side story to be small fillers to go with the relationship crap. It's a terrible formula that is an affront Science Fiction. It is a sad trend I am seeing in Sci-Fi, see Stargate Universe among other things non-Stagate that it copies.

With how messed up Davies's thought processes are, I wouldn't be surprised if he thought it was going to be as good or better than Doctor Who. Heck the title of the show is and anagram. Rearrange Torchwood = Doctor Who.

I mean, we are talking about the moron who comes in on an age old show, Doctor Who, and basically flips the bird at fans and says, "Screw you, canon doesn't matter, I can write my own canon since I have control of the show." He has this weird idea that fans of anything are stupid, that people should just accept how shows go and not care about what the people in control do with them. What he sounds like is a bad writer in denial. The mindset of, "If people don't like what I am doing, obviously there is something wrong with the people, because I believe I am untouchable."

But, now with the recent news that Davies is giving up on writing "Sci-Fi", we can all breathe a sigh of relief.

I never tried Stargate Universe and probably never will. It will destroy some of the magic I always felt watching stargate sg-1/stargate atlantis.

I still think it was horrible to cancel Stargate Atlantis in order to promote SGU more. SG-1/SGA did fine running aside from each other. SGA still had a atleast a good 1-2 seasons left but they just had to kill it off.
