Okay, now I can't stop laughing. There goes my productivity for the day.

OT: I'm pissed that Carnivale was canceled before it could end they built that show up worse than Lost and now it's 100% loose ends.

Lastly (on the Joss Whedon train) Angel ended on a bit of an annoying cliff hanger.
I always use to say that they ended the show at the perfect point for it to be followed by a movie. Don't deny it. A movie following the point of that cliffhanger woulda been awesome.

He did it with Firefly/Serenity. Should have also done it with Angel.
Would never deny a brilliant idea. And yeah...I mean he had the story idea there. He made a comic out of it so a film wouldn't have been too hard.

I'll mention Avatar the Last Airbender. Don't get me wrong, it was supposed to end and wasn't cut short, and another season or series would most likely be catastrophic, but seeing Nick's greatest achievement end is going to be a little sad.

Both of those spots belong to Firefly.
And Mission Hill. I absolutely loved that show.
Mission Hill was one of the greatest Adult Swim shows ever.

OT: Megas XLR.

Whoever cancelled it, I will find you, and I will make you pay.

Arrested Development

Life on Mars (US - ok, so it's not as good as the original UK LoM, but, hey, it's got Harvey Keitel and Michael Imperioli... and fans deserve a much better finale)

The Prisoner (to make up for another crap finale... but only if we can somehow resurrect Patrick McGoohan - I refuse to watch the reboot)

Well...Firefly and Dollhouse. I loved both of them. They were both cancelled a bit early. Actually I freaking LOVED both even if they were cancelled early. Furthermore Firefly kind of didn't resolve the whole thing.
Firefly, yes.
Dollhouse, no.

Dollhouse was doomed the minute it cast Eliza Dushku as the lead. Basically, it was doomed from inception because it was her show to run. In the end, the brilliant supporting cast couldn't make up for the fail-in-acting-form that was her starring role.

Otherwise, the show I miss the most has to be Veronica Mars. It went downhill in the third season, but the pilot they made for season four was brilliant enough to run with.

Also, yay, Futurama is back!

I know I'm showing my age a little bit here, but I find myself missing Married With Children.

I'd have to go with: 'Firefly', 'Two Guys, a Girl, and a Pizza Place', 'Freakazoid', 'Sam and Max: Freelance Police', 'Jack of All Trades', 'Cosby' (with Doug E. Doug), and 'Corner Gas' (even though it was Brent's idea to end).

Apart form jumping on the Firefly bandwagon I was sad when Boston Legal ended, probably my favourite show of all time. Legend of the Seeker was also a good show that got cancelled too early.

In regards to Anime I have to agree that Code Geass ended too early, it was a great show and Vampire Knight Guilty. OHSHC was another amazing one I wish I could see more of.

Dollhouse
I thought it was wrapped up well. It was evident that Joss Whedon knew that it would be cancelled after Series 2 so the second series was a bit fast paced but at least the story played out.

OT:
"Roommates" - it was a generic rip off of quite a lot of sitcoms but it really found its feet at about episode 9, however it was cancelled after about 5 episodes and they hastily broadcast the remaining episodes in two sets of 4 episodes so they were at least broadcast but it was still annoying. Also, Felicia Day was in the last 4 or so episodes and stole every scene (closet Felicia Day fan here...)

"The Class" - what the people who did Friends did next, 6 adults who were in the same 3rd Grade class are reintroduced to each other. Apparently had quite a big following as the network was bombarded with mail after its cancellation. Annoyingly finished on a cliffhanger.

"Welcome to the Captain" - Sitcom again about a writer who moves to LA I think into a *kooky* apartment block, 6 episodes planned but only 5 were made so it didn't even have an 'ending' or even a 'cliffhanger', it just ended.

I know what you mean.

Pains me to see so much potential never get the chance to take off.
I have but one thing to say to them!
