How can they possibly make a game of this? Then again, that question has never bothered other movie/game execs, but this is a truly shining example. What is there to play? A puzzle game? There's no mystery or real intrigue, there's no real action other than a few short and infrequent fight scenes...what could be done?
Well, they could always do the alluded to fight scenes that get overshadowed by the main characters hiding somewhere and hoping not to be seen.

What can it about? How can you control them?

Square to talk?

R2 to initate glitter skin?

R2 + L2 to glitter some more?

Triangle to stare?

X to... You see?! There's nothing to make into a game!

as i say i reckon an open worldy prototype thing'd go down well, plenty of manouverability and those stealth kills redesigned slightly, glittering in direct sun alerts people and you've got to rendezvous with more vampires. seriously, thinking on it prototype's engine makes so much sense! the backgrounds could make for a good class-based single player, do you go for a telepathic one who can see people through walls and how antagonised they are, or do you go for one who can rewind time to see the future, or someone who can lower a guard's heat? so even the cullen's skill set can be made into a good game.

drinking animals restores your health and ability energy but drinking people gives you more and unlocks your top tier abilities. drinking humans changes your scent and eye colour though, pacifist vampires are slower to trust you.

kind of prototype meets splinter cell: rogue agent! now you see? this game sounds awesome! i sincerely would play it and if i could i'd mod it.
Actually, yeah that does sound pretty good.

Of course, there is always V:tM: Bloodlines, which I hear is pretty good.

Just without the glitter.

Not to worry, an MMO is in development, and I'm serious.
Off topic: is that dave from MEGADETH on your avatar?

I think that a twilight game would just add clutter to the ever growing line of cheap cashins.

Given the age demographic (16-25 year old, stop deluding yourselves with the preteen nonsense), somewhere around most of them have ready access to gaming consoles of some type.

Since there are games for everything else, and they sell Twilight everything the lack of a game is perplexing.

It's not 75x75px. gifs will only work if they are exactly 75 square. Post the original and I'll change it for you.

How many Farmville players are also Twilight fangirls?
insignificant numbers?
All i'm saying is you don't have to be a gamer as such to get into an mmo, or games in general for that matter. WoW is living proof.

A game were we play as Bella trying to pick between two lovers? awful.

A game were we play as Vampires fighting Werewolfs for love? better than the first idea.

A game were we play as Vampires trying to kill Edward and his family for being so fucking stupid? Game of the Year.

Quoted from the MachineCAST: "Ha...ha...ha."

I am surprised they didn't cash in, but reading the synopsis of the fourth book, there is a very messy childbirth scene which would be highly inappropriate/QTE laiden (though those two are not mutually exclusive) in a potential game.

If they keep Stephanie Meyer away from the freaking dialogue and story, I think we can get something very coherent and something I can come to enjoy. It's her freaking rants about Eduard that made me hate the book and that her plot isn't much of one.

I couldn't give a crap if they sparkled, that makes sense... does not the Venus Fly Trap look beautiful to capture its prey? Them sparkling to do the same makes sense in the case of evolution. Them being the "perfect" breed however, I can't tolerate... everything needs a weakness. Even we humans have one, for example... without a cell phone we're screwed.

So yeah, it's the story I'm concerned about with the game. Hire somebody competent to take over and actually build good dialogue, flow and plot... I'd vastly consider it. Add great gameplay and I'm hovering my mouse over the "Add To Cart". Make sure none of the original cast of Twilight are in it and I'm sold.

I actually think an MMO would work...hear me out here.

Two factions: sparkle vampires and human hunters

The vampires are your typical Mary Sues and get to do...I don't know, meet the Cullens and werewolves, go running around, whatever the fangirls would be interested in.

The human vampire hunters...get to kill them. Sneak up with a flamethrower, and torch the sparkle right off.

If there were no subscription, I'd get that. I think organized corpse camping of Twihards would be kind of fun.
And I'll be there with you on the front lines, soldier.
