So although this article doesn't allude to any evidence there will be any Twilight game coming out soon, the mere possibility that this could happen has made me shudder. Just wondering fellow escapists, what are your thoughts on this possibility?

And so... we go to war!

Although, tbh, this is just going to be like every other badly made movie tie-in game.

I was one of the first to post a comment

"FUCK NO.I WILL FIRST STAND IN FRONT OF MY GAMESTOP AND THREATEN TO KILL EVERYONE WHO LEAVES WITH A COPY."

I think I could've been more harsh,though.

Does it really matter if they make a twilight game?
It'll probably fall flat on its face anyway, nothing to get up in arms about.

"MISSION OBJECT: BE THE SPARKLIEST VAMPIRE."

I see the potential here!

[sub] But if they actually made a twilight game I would be very sad. [/sub]

Well, movie/game tie-ins (in either direction) are generally rubbish so I'm sure it will be crap if it happens. That's nothing to do with Twilight itself though. I never play movie tie-in games anymore so I wouldn't be playing it if it was Twilight, Rambo or Gone With The Wind.

This again?

I'm not normally one to cry search bar but when there's already a news article about it and another topic was made about it earlier today it's a bit annoying.

Anyway, Twilight is a romance book, right? How would that work as a game? There's the option of a dating sim, but I don't think that even the Twilight fan would stomach through something that boring.
From what I've heard people say (I will never read the books or watch the movies), apparently each "vampire" has a unique superpower. This unique element that could have made a great series was dropped in favor of staring and stalking. If you removed Meyer from writing, dropped the story, and focused on vampires in that world (I'll even allow you to have a romance plot since that's something to be expected from this, so long as it's not necrophila again. Seriously, vampires are undead! How do fans find that appealing?) it could have potential.

...Of course no one would ever do this because they're too hooked on the bad idea that the series currently is.

Undead are not the same as dead therefore it is not necrophilia.

Besides the books are actually pretty good except for the last one. The movies are shit though, so it only makes sense the game would be good right? right? doesnt that make sense?

Maybe not

Who cares? You wouldn't have to buy the game, and are unlikely to be forced to watch it.

I find it slightly concerning how often the maturity of this site is exalted, and yet when it comes to the topic of Twilight and several other series it's seems to magically disappear.

Not only that, there was someone with the exact same story earlier today!

Original Story:

The one earlier today:
Can't find it... Search bar is Broken on Chrome. :(

Calumon: You say something and make excuses about why you can't prove it? Bad Jack, go in the corner now!
