To be fair (according to her profile at least) she is from Australia. The nation that seems to believe that the purpose of law is to bludgeon their political beliefs into the other side. So, a bit of anarchistic lather is probably an understandable response.Demented Teddy said:Ok, if you want my serious input.Starke said:Seeing as Cassita got herself suspended, would you please consider making the effort to raise the level of debate in the thread now?Demented Teddy said:Eh, I'm treating this with the level of seriousness that it deserves.
If someone comes into a thread and starts blocking anyone who makes an arguement against her I doubt I'm gonna bother treating her in a serious manner.
On the topic of the arrogant, stubborn user:
People like her, from what I see of her, desire far too great a level of freedom.
They think everyone should be able to do what they want and that would lead to a dangerous, chaotic and very disorganised society.
She also despises the organisation that runs her country, that made sure she was born in a safe environment, that she got at the very least a basic education, that she lived in a safe society (to the best of their abilities) and you know where I'm going with this.
Again, to be fair, there are a lot of people who regard fascism as evil. A large part of that comes from the way the ideology was employed in WWII.Demented Teddy said:She's also those type of liberals that think anyone that is less liberal then they are, are evil and with me being a Fascist, I have not had good dealings with them in the past so...let's just say I'm not fond of them.
For me, one of the most troubling things about fascism isn't the ideology itself, rather its the propensity for fascism to attract warmongers and empire builders.
EDIT: I should amend this: With fascism, all it takes is a single warmonger or empire builder getting to the top, for everything to go pear shaped. Not that the philosophy encourages this behavior, simply that as a political structure, there doesn't tend to be checks in place to limit their aggression.
That pushed me towards blood boiling levels as well. Still, in general, its usually best not let yourself get dragged down to someone like that's level. That said, she was really fuckin' irritating.Demented Teddy said:She can't handle anyone whom disagrees with her and just blocks them which is the internet equivalency of shouting in someone's face and then blcoking your ears going "lalalala I can't hear you".
In this we agree.Demented Teddy said:On the topic of the OP:
What the mother did was extremly cruel to the child, to force a habit on someone you are supposed to be taking care of is severly wrong and in doing so the mother has proven that she is unfit to look after her child.
Anyway, thank you.
But... pineapple...Daystar Clarion said:Nice imput, and while I disagree with facism, at least it has a level of common sense to it. I consider myself a liberal, but pure 'I should be allowed to do anything I want' libertarian bullshit is further up on my list of things that piss me off. Right next to zealous vegetarians/vegans and putting pineapple on pizza.
For what it's worth, I was mildly amused by comic. Weird? yes. Random? Yes. But, mildly amusing.Demented Teddy said:Then sorry for the comic I posted, it's just that we do feel a need to retaliate against those that look down on us as if we are inhuman beasts.
