No, I'm afraid Valve isn't having a turn this year. They abruptly cancelled their E3 booth a little while after they announced that Portal 2 was going to be delayed until 2011.

Also why is everyone hating the Ubisoft Conference? I thought it was possibly the best overall press conference yet. EA was a bit of a mixed result with Bulletstorm looking interesting but the tOR information which I'd actually been waiting for had already been leaked onto eurogamer and I'd watched the "Hope" trailer when Microsoft was banging on about ESPN and Xbox.

Speaking of Xbox too there was nothing which was new and exciting which they announced, everything they showed was already known about apart from the games for the Kinect, which I think is kind of pointless as I believe Kinect has it's own press conference today.

At least Ubisoft had a bit of variety, okay no-one is excited by the Ubisoft Lazer Tag (which is fair enough) but new games based upon Driver, Rayman, Assassin's Creed, Ghost Recon and the formation of a game series based around it's modding community? Sounds quite interesting to me.

Well, it's nice to know that The Original User Generated Content Game™ (TrackMania, which ModNation Racers ripped off, and anyone who says otherwise is an idiot) has been getting some attention, along with confirmation that ShootMania and QuestMania weren't a mis-timed April Fools joke by Nadeo. A crying shame that it will be enevitably ruined by the DRM.

[Edit] UbiDRM has been confirmed by Nadeo has the DRM of choice. ManiaPlanet is now officially ruined.

There won't be one. They canceled their E3 (is it their entire booth now? I figured it was just their press conference) booth I guess. Oh, Portal 2 won't be coming out for several more months. Surprise.

Well, let's see if Nintendo can top the laser tag thing tomorrow with another facepalm worthy gimmick. So far, it's at the top of my list.

I dunno, that breathing game gave it a run for it's money.

We all know Nintendo will have motion control (that would be a shock if they didn't), but hopefully Sony can save us all at their conference

I really hope thtas the case, sony would be absolutley mental to follow up with nothing but motion control even if it meant last minute script alterations, hell Microsoft was utterly dire but atleast the showed freaking games for half their confrence.

Does anyone know if Eidos has a conference this year? I've only seen Ubisoft's conference so far, but at the moment I think only the extremely small chance of a new Legacy of Kain game could save E3 for me.
