Totally just signed up so I can watch myself get rejected :D
Not sure how I will find out if I'm rejected or not, but this should be fun.

I'm not exactly surprised. Generally saddened, but not surprised.

Ya, because people should be able to go wherever they want. "Oh, you have no right to kick me out of your author club just because my only book is a turd on a paper." The site's goal is for beautiful people to meet eachother. Nobody has the right to make them allow uglies in. So cry, cry, cry.
Accept beauty is something that is in the eye of the beholder and as a dating site they have just as much right to find a date as you or I do.

Not to mention that if beauty comes at the price of being an extreme snobby to others, then I'd rather stay average thank you very much.
With that logic, everybody in high school should be on the football team if they want to, regardless of skill. One could say skill is in the eye of the beholder just as much as beauty. A "right to find a date"? Ya, because this is clearly the only way to find a date.

You might be the one who reported me for trolling. Whoever did, I didn't realize not agreeing with somebody made me a troll. First warning I have gotten since joining years ago. What does that tell you?

Ugly people do not have more rights than attractive people. Why can't there be a site where attractive people can meet other attractive people, without everyone else popping in? It's not like there is only a select few dating sites. It's a huge industry. Why get worked up if one of them has more requirements to be a member other than "Must be alive". Who is to say I can't sign a dog up? Hey, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I'll just say it's a very unique looking person.

I get a lot of heat for what I'm saying, and I don't really care, because it says more about the people reporting me than it does me. Maybe I'm just more comfortable with how I look, and they are only upset about this because of the "Ugly Person Agenda". Whatever. I have lost respect for whoever would report me for having a different opinion. God forbid not everybody thinks the same way.
1) The football team is reserved for those who earn their spot through hard work. I don't see much hard work in looking pretty. Especially since some people are just BORN with looks and have to do nothing to get them.

2)That you were trolling? Why are you asking me about this?

3)You're right. Their equals. Therefore one group shouldn't be discriminated against over the other. Also, because its a dating service and even people who aren't all that attractive have the right to find someone if they want to. They have no right to be discriminated against because of their looks. And those who do discriminate people based on looks are probably never gonna find love because they'll be too goddamn picky and they've already proven to have a personality equal to that of a boulder.

4)God forbid you look beyond the cover. Your comment wasn't just an opinion, it was offensive. You were attempting to get a flaming response with your post and you deserved your warning.
1. Some people are born with raw talent.

2. Notice the key word "might".

3. Okay, here's my trumpcard: Christian dating sites. Sites for Christian singles to meet other Christian singles. With your logic, "Oh, everybody is equal, so everybody should be allowed in!" This would defeat the purpose of the entire site.

4. Because cleary I must only judge people based on looks? I like that you pretend to know me as an individual. No matter what you say, somebody will find a way to make it offensive. Should I give a shit if somebody thinks what I type is offensive? That's your own beef, not mine. I don't go around bitching when I am offended. Oh, but apparently, you are some sort of mind reader, and know what MY intentions are. "You were attempting to get a flaming response with your post and you deserved your warning." *Facepalm*, *facepalm*, *FACEPALM!* I would have been happier if you had NOT responded with a flaming response. That's your own action, don't go blaming me at this point. Like I said, I have no history of trolling or breaking forum rules. Don't go ASSUMING people with different opinions are trying to piss you off. It would be a scary world if everyone was like that.
1) Looks aren't talent. If that was the case, cheerleaders and runway models would be athletes.

2)If it makes you feel any better, no I wasn't the one who reported you. I just SEVERELY disagree with you.

3)Religion does not equal looks. Religion is a philosophy, one that can be changed at the drop of a hat. Its a lot cheaper and quicker for someone to switch religions then it is for someone to buy all the exercise equipment and hair products needed to be tone your body into something 'beautiful.' I don't see fat Christians being kicked off that site and insulted by the administrator of some site. I also don't see Jewish folk being kicked off it while being called 'heathens' or 'heretics'. Not allowing them access to something is one thing, letting them in and then throwing them out with an letter (A public letter might I add)full of insults directed toward them is something completely different. That's not just denying them, that's bullying them.

4)I'm not offended. You clearly tried to troll people into a response. After all, you did post "Cry cry cry" at the end of your post, suggesting that people who disagreed with you were doing nothing but whining and teary eyed complaining. Stating your opinion is one thing, stating it and then claiming the other side are doing nothing but crying over it is something completely different.

Just wanted to add that religion is not subjective like looks. You are a Christian if you believe and follow Christ, it's not like I can look at a Christian and say "You know what you aren't a Christian and that's final"

Also to the angry guy Haydyn - People can report you all they want, nothing will come of it unless the Mods agree that you did something wrong, which you obviously did because you got a warning.

*Sigh* I'd expect that at least in the Internet people would stop spewing this "Everyone is purty!!1!" bullshit. Do you people even understand what beauty is for? "Beautiful" people are people who have better genetics, that means that beautiful people are less prone to birth defects and such. It is simply built into our brains trough evolution.
Beauty if purely subjective term.

Sure, not everybody is beautiful by the shallow, conventionally attractive definition of the word, but there is beauty in everything.

Beauty =/= attractive

I'm not saying everyone should be allowed on the site, that site can do whatever the fuck they want. But I can't stand it when people have such narrow definitions of what beauty is (conventionally attractive, good genetics, ect.).

Good. Its a site for beautiful people that's that, they don't want ugly people on their site and I think that is fair.

Eh, I'm sorry to say but, aesthetically, not everyone is beautiful. You can push the "everyone is beautiful" idea, but it just isn't true in appearance. Even on the inside, there are evil people out there. There are mediocre people out there. However, there are a handful of beautiful people out there. On the inside it is very rare to find a truly good person.

Most people suck, myself included. I'm not a saint, a very very very far cry from one. But the people at BeautifulPeople.com are of a brutish, pompous, ridiculous sort. Those people are the ugly ones.

The site is a private online community for people who meet the standards of physical appeal based on the judgement of the site owners/moderators.

If they want to boot people off for being too ugly, it's their right to do so.

So what? They're assholes. Just ignore them, they're self-contained. If an ugly person such as myself is offended that they can't use the site, then they have a much bigger problem than being ugly.

I signed up to this site to see if I can get through. I consider myself attractive but I want to see if I fit shallow people's definition of beautiful. So far, 4 positive votes. I will report back with my results to further increase my ego. I wouldn't seriously date any of these bitches though.
Got through with overall rating as Beautiful. Was a good social experiment and ego boost. Now to delete my profile before im tempted to message anyone... lol

...so?

The purpose of the site was that people who were voted as beautiful by each other could socialize and date. Are people obligated to socialize with people they don't want to? Would it be wrong for a lesbian dating site to boot male users?
