This is Greg Hodge.

He thinks he's better looking than you.

I don't like this beautiful people thing, I think it's arrogant and shallow. Seems a lot like eugenics too. Still, if they want to live in their own world where everyone has to be up to their standard of beauty than fuck 'em. Let them age a bit, then we'll see.

I like the aptly named Shrek virus. It's funny and humour is something which I'm pretty damn sure someone like Hodge lacks.

wow, his left eye looks like it's desperately trying to escape from his face, also judging by his clothes he seems to be operating under the assumption that he's still 23.

I noted a few posts back that someone should hit him with an ugly stick, but it looks like someone got the party started a while ago.

Unfortunately, I'm forced to agree that sites can aceept (or not) whoever they want for whatever reason, freedom of expression and all that.

But that guys a dick.

*Sigh* I'd expect that at least in the Internet people would stop spewing this "Everyone is purty!!1!" bullshit. Do you people even understand what beauty is for? "Beautiful" people are people who have better genetics, that means that beautiful people are less prone to birth defects and such. It is simply built into our brains trough evolution.
Beauty is subjective and in the eye of the beholder, not in genetics. Quality of life and visual appearance are genetics, "beauty" is not. Everyone is beautiful to someone somewhere. I have consider myself ugly, and I only have a few people I'd consider beautiful, but I know that some consider me beautiful in a way and same with the people I don't think are.

The thing built into our brains through evolution is not beauty, by the way. It's the idea of reproduction, e.g. women with larger breasts are typically chosen in history due to being able to give milk more easily. While this isn't true, it was believed for an extremely long time and built into our heads, and many other such classifications. That is not "beauty," that is simply your mind working at a perfect mate for an off-spring. Even then, some people consider smaller or flat breasted women to be more desirable and more "beautiful" than those who have larger breasts, are they in the wrong? No, they just see it through their eyes, and that's all that matters.

In the end: The guy who runs the site is an idiot and committed a PR nightmare that'll hurt his career, but no more than most people are in fashion industries and such. Just ignore morons like him and view life you want, not what others want.

Lastly; Gattaca is a good example of this and people still finding beauty in those without the "desired" genes.

PS: This site has a very hard time distinguishing between desirable traits in a society and beauty. Did you know that height and the larger the eyes are considered very desirable in Japan? I don't know about you, but a tall girl with large eyes isn't considered desirable that often in western culture. Does that mean that western culture itself defines what "beauty" is, then?

Wow, that's really, really pitiful. It's really sad how people can get sometimes, over beauty. But one thing I know for sure, beauty does end. So what does that leave them in the end?

Did anybody else think of Vega from Street Fighter when they read the title?

I mean, booting people from a dating site because they're ugly just sounds like him.
OT: It's a site for beautiful people I guess, so if the moderators (?) thought that newcomers were ugly people, then I guess it makes sense to boot them.
Some people are beautiful on the outside, some people are ugly on the outside.
Some people are beautiful on the inside, some people are ugly on the inside.
Mix and match as you will.
It would be foolish to say that "Everyone's beautiful!!1" because not everyone is aesthetically attractive. However, everyone has something in their favor. Whether it be good looks, intelligence, mind control powers, a good personality, nobody is without good traits.
I'm not sure I'd say "nobody" I have seen some awfully worthless individuals.
I must say that you are right my friend. I should have said "Nobody except most of the people who comment on youtube videos"
I joke of course (or do I?), but yes, there are some people out there that are just ugly in every way. Fred Phelps comes to mind when I say that.

I think the real ugly people are the ones who are kicking people off a website saying they aren't "beautiful" enough.

Wow, no wonder they need their own personal dating site. With an attitude like that it wouldn't surprise me to learn they have no friends either.

What the hell Internet?! Everyone is beautiful, they don't need you telling them whether they are or not.

Edit: I've been getting lots of quotes about the "everyone is beautiful" thing and I stand by that. Everyone is beautiful, there is more than one type of beauty in the world. I am against the idea of this website and their general policy because it is so close minded and arrogant of a dating site when most of the time, physical beauty is a matter of perspective. If 29 guys think a girl is "ugly" and one guy thinks she is beautiful. Then she is beautiful.
BWAHAHA! I love it. What a way to keep the ugly people from breeding. I am slightly ashamed that I never thought of it myself.

If you own a website you are free to allow people on what basis you want. I think the fact people want this website hacked is deeply distasteful. I also wouldn't want to be on the website though I do think people are fooling themselves if they believe that looks aren't used in a dating site, or even the dating game in the non virtual world.

Ya, because people should be able to go wherever they want. "Oh, you have no right to kick me out of your author club just because my only book is a turd on a paper." The site's goal is for beautiful people to meet eachother. Nobody has the right to make them allow uglies in. So cry, cry, cry.
Accept beauty is something that is in the eye of the beholder and as a dating site they have just as much right to find a date as you or I do.

Not to mention that if beauty comes at the price of being an extreme snobby to others, then I'd rather stay average thank you very much.
With that logic, everybody in high school should be on the football team if they want to, regardless of skill. One could say skill is in the eye of the beholder just as much as beauty. A "right to find a date"? Ya, because this is clearly the only way to find a date.

You might be the one who reported me for trolling. Whoever did, I didn't realize not agreeing with somebody made me a troll. First warning I have gotten since joining years ago. What does that tell you?

Ugly people do not have more rights than attractive people. Why can't there be a site where attractive people can meet other attractive people, without everyone else popping in? It's not like there is only a select few dating sites. It's a huge industry. Why get worked up if one of them has more requirements to be a member other than "Must be alive". Who is to say I can't sign a dog up? Hey, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I'll just say it's a very unique looking person.

I get a lot of heat for what I'm saying, and I don't really care, because it says more about the people reporting me than it does me. Maybe I'm just more comfortable with how I look, and they are only upset about this because of the "Ugly Person Agenda". Whatever. I have lost respect for whoever would report me for having a different opinion. God forbid not everybody thinks the same way.
1) The football team is reserved for those who earn their spot through hard work. I don't see much hard work in looking pretty. Especially since some people are just BORN with looks and have to do nothing to get them.

2)That you were trolling? Why are you asking me about this?

3)You're right. Their equals. Therefore one group shouldn't be discriminated against over the other. Also, because its a dating service and even people who aren't all that attractive have the right to find someone if they want to. They have no right to be discriminated against because of their looks. And those who do discriminate people based on looks are probably never gonna find love because they'll be too goddamn picky and they've already proven to have a personality equal to that of a boulder.

4)God forbid you look beyond the cover. Your comment wasn't just an opinion, it was offensive. You were attempting to get a flaming response with your post and you deserved your warning.
1. Some people are born with raw talent.

2. Notice the key word "might".

3. Okay, here's my trumpcard: Christian dating sites. Sites for Christian singles to meet other Christian singles. With your logic, "Oh, everybody is equal, so everybody should be allowed in!" This would defeat the purpose of the entire site.

4. Because cleary I must only judge people based on looks? I like that you pretend to know me as an individual. No matter what you say, somebody will find a way to make it offensive. Should I give a shit if somebody thinks what I type is offensive? That's your own beef, not mine. I don't go around bitching when I am offended. Oh, but apparently, you are some sort of mind reader, and know what MY intentions are. "You were attempting to get a flaming response with your post and you deserved your warning." *Facepalm*, *facepalm*, *FACEPALM!* I would have been happier if you had NOT responded with a flaming response. That's your own action, don't go blaming me at this point. Like I said, I have no history of trolling or breaking forum rules. Don't go ASSUMING people with different opinions are trying to piss you off. It would be a scary world if everyone was like that.

Just a publicity stunt? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-13854953

Personally I have no problem with this site as inclusion is voted for by the member base. As it is based entirely on looks, I assume there will be a fair amount of narcissism within member ranks which will lead them to vote for people who look much like themselves.
Isn't that a good thing that those people all get together? Wanted: Narcissistic shallow people who conform to our ideal of beauty to date other narcissistic shallow people who subscribe to the same ideals. Yay?

I don't see a problem with the website if I'm honest.
I could make a dating site just for gamers and boot non gamers off it. It wouldn't make me a dick, just being specific.

I do find it hilarious though how all these people managed to get on the site, I guess someone was bitter about being rejected or doing it for tehlulz

meh, photoshop is your friend, you just add a picture that get rated.

anw aside from their reqruitment tactics being flawed, what they encourage is: attractive people accoarding to TODAY's satandards, hwich may aswell change in a matter of years, look at trends for these past 40 years and beauty have differ from on time to another immensly.

about 6 or so years ago you should ALWAYS have had implants as a woman but 3 years later it was small and natrually firm breasts if u wanted to be beautiful, 4 years ago you were supposed to have natrually thick and long hair, now you won't be good enough without extentions.

and the twiggy trend was hilarious, it went from curvy, voluptuous shapes to actual twigs.

beauty is what you cannot have. it has always been like that, as the very often mentioned ideal of a big bodyframe during times and in cultures where acccess to food is low and the luxuary of being able to store that food in form of bodyfat was considered a trait of beauty because it was hard to not stay skinny.
Pale and Fair skin was also considered highly attractive because hard labour would force you out into the harsh rays of the sun, while today a tan is considered more beautiful than the pale skin of the geek who hasn't seen the light of day.

wide hips was somehting you wanted, for then you might be more likely to carry sons (this is not true though, but one of many old cultural believes)

btw, I looked at the site and the women on the frontpage looked bitchy and... stiff is the best word I can find, anw they look strange... and the men looked like effeminate douchebags trying to copy the "edward" style.

if this is their definition of beauty I'm glad I have no part in it.
