Won't threads like this make the Escapist really cliquey? Since the site is based in America, it's no surprise that the majority of the population are American. (I'm Welsh by the way).
me too, I thought I was the token welshman here

Let us carry out the traditional Brittish social bonding method, charge your glasses ladies and gentlemen, let us drink untill we A) Fall down B)Throw up C) Both.
You missed d) Indulge in drug abuse and casual violence, before buying a fancy manufactured from the spiced pieces of a meat which is entirely unknown. Before attempting to creep into the wife.

I live in Carmarthenshire, which is a tie on letters. And in Welsh, just one short of that (Sir Gaerfyrddin)

I do say, it's frightfully good to be british, eh what? Time for tea and crumpets!

Erm...yeah, I'm British. I don't actually like tea though.

Live in Brighton. Used to live in East Lahdan for 9 years or so though. Dunno why some people seem to find the underground confusing, its simple enough if you go by individual railines. Admittedly, all together on one page it looks like what'd happen if you put Shelob on crack in a square room.

You're all English. Is it possible to say that I'm Welsh without receiving a barrage of sheep jokes?.. I guess we'll find out.

I was born in Ireland but I've spent most of my life in England (Southern boy here).

Being British doesn't seem overly special to me...most of the 'iconic' things about us are either old fashioned or otherwise not seen anymore:

How long until we ditch the Pound for the Euro? I personally like crumpets and scones but I don't know many other people (especially my age) who do, same goes for tea. Don't get me started about Bulldogs (I hate the things) and we probably won't hold onto the monarchy for too long.

Regardless, I still like being in England.

I too shall raise my fist *joins in fist raising*.

I'm from a small town near Wigan. I'd give you the name, but chances are you've never heard of it. It's nice to have a thread for all us British blokes to talk in.
