So it seams that the UK is finally out of recession.

Will you begin spending more?

What needless stuff will you buy?

[HEADING=1]HA HA HA![/HEADING]

Can you just echo that to all the people who have lost their jobs, BORDERS and the countless other long term unemployed or badly off?

When I get a pay rise equal to the cost of living, then I'll think we're getting close to being out of debt.

Then we can buy back half of the stuff we sold off and never saw again, like British Steel, British Gas, British Petroleum etc.

Me I'm shopping like I always had. Might as well spend it now before it's all worthless.

Tell that to us people who have been 'temporarily' let go.
And now JobSeekers are giving me shit, sure anyone with 6 kids and no job history gets it easy, but I have letters telling me I should have sent them things, that no one told me I have to send. /stress.

Yeah, we'll be back in recession soon enough.

Over the christmas months the growth was a mighty 0.1%! That's pretty much a disaster, by April we'll be back into recession well and truly.

Ahem....

BULL SHIT

If we're out of a recession then why are all the shops on my high street closing? Why can I still not find a job? Why are the banks taking forever to pay back the money they nicked from the taxpayer?

It's not over, it won't be over for a very long time, and it won't be over with the current goverment in place.

1. Like Hybridwolf says: Bull. I'll believe it when I see it.
2. Similar to Daystar Clarion, but I have just bought a house. Everyday is just another recession to me.

I second this. Everyday will be a recession for quite a while.

The job centre are absolutly useless. I live with my boyfriend and they expected us to live on my student loan. They kept fobbing him off and supended his benifit without telling him, the communication between the job centre and them who decide who get benefits and those who don't is shockingly rediculous.

Yet another person to call 'BULL. FUCKING. SHIT.' (What. Arbitrary. Silliness.... yes, I like ZP too much.) on the recession supposedly ending now.

Honestly though, I'd be somewhat worried if the recession had really ended; people (banks and governments especially) seriously screwed up the world economy. I'd suspect foul play if it was over already.
